Eddie and his wife went above and beyond. Constantly busy and that is a good thing. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you.

It was a great shop prior to being bought out by William Wells. The mechanics don't quite seem to…read moreknow what they are doing. I went a few months ago and got a $300 quote for a muffler delete. Went next door and got it done for $100. More recently, my car wouldn't start and was thought to be starter related. They charged nearly $150 for diagnostic and then another $80 for parts and labor. And it wasn't the problem. I then figured out the issue (a shift lever position issue)and called them to let them know and ask about a refund for the diagnostic beings they got it completely wrong. I was told that I didn't leave the far long enough for a full diagnostic and there was nothing they can do. So if you need a tire fixed and want to deal with nice people. This is your place. If you need some more serious work done, enter at your own risk.

My first business dealing in Mississippi, coming from living in the Seattle/Bellevue area my whole…read morelife. I had a broken exhaust hanger when working on my own car, but I didn't have welding equipment. Needed the car for a weekend trip to Biloxi. A coworker suggested this place, next to the well-known United Deli. There wasn't much of a parking lot, just a bunch of cars. Just found a spot and parked. When I went into front office, there wasn't anyone in the counter, but a guy came in from outside that I saw earlier to see what I needed done. He just went up to me and got straight up to the issue I had. Our conversation wasn't done behind a desk or service counter, but we were both standing in the middle of the room conversing like friends already. This was the same with the mechanic/welder, very knowledgeable and quick. These guys are straight-shooters with no BS, which I appreciated very much. Compared to even the better shops in Seattle, I was very impressed that I received very warm and personable service. The customers were fun to talk to. Despite it looking busy, and most of their stalls full when I arrived, they were able to get me in and out in less than 20 minutes. The shop does other services, but I have no direct dealing with those. When I moved to this state, I was mocked lightly as Washington was leaps and bounds better. Although miss the scenery and environment of the NW, the people and personality in Mississippi make up for it, and this shop has exemplified this example.

They are very clear in their business upfront and are extremely kind, friendly, and professional. My first visit was something small, but my second visit was much more major. I came in knowing I had a gasket leak in my oil pan, and they found and fixed the issue as well as let me know of the other issues they found affecting my car so I could choose to fix them as well (I did). I was able to get it all done for a very fair price and no hassle or worry. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone I meet in Starkville. They always make you feel welcome and respected - thank you again for helping me take care of my car!

I was quoted $70 total, but when I came to pick it up (Dec 18) I was charged $1,284.49, including unauthorized parts and labor that I never approved or signed for. I was never given an estimate and I only saw the itemized invoice at the time of payment. Part pricing was also extremely inflated (same part numbers online were about $272 total, but I was billed around $695 for those parts). The front desk worker Danny Wooten was mouthy and unprofessional, and even said he was trying to "get this damn thing out of my hair" while refusing to address the extra charges. They also required cash only to release my motorcycle. I reported this through the Mississippi Attorney General and the business's response misrepresented key facts. If you've had a similar experience, report it here: https://portal.ago.ms.gov/public/?q=node/403 To the business: before disputing this review, I encourage you to review the documentation related to my case. Numerous other customers have publicly shared similar experiences, which suggests this is not an isolated incident. My statements are supported by records and documentation, and I stand by the accuracy of what I have shared here.
