Absolutely fantastic! Welcoming friendly and professional staff. My barber Kadhir did a flawless job. Full attention to detail while also fun and conversational. Excellent use of shavers and scissors. Great value and worth every minute I was there. Every time in Chicago, I'll go here for my haircut! read more

The only reason why I didn't give them a one star is because I know specific barbers do a good job. The past two times I came in I was content (not happy, but content) with my hair, but this past time was by far the worst. Long story short if you know a specific barber here and know they can do your hair right then come here, otherwise I wouldn't just come walking in, since some don't understand basic instructions. Not to name anyone in particular, but this barber was unprofessional. Aside from the fact that he didn't do anything that I asked for my hair, he was talking the whole time and didn't seem like he was giving my cut the attention it needed. He even walked away for a minute or two after shaving one side of my head. In terms of cut-related comments, I asked for a handful of things but nothing particularly difficult for a barber. I wanted a medium/low fade from skin to a 1. On both sides I asked specifically that he didn't cut with the shape of my head but rather straight up. If you look at the pictures it looks like one size ALL the way around. Even in the back there's no shape or fade, just one size all the way up to my cow lick. Lastly, and this is the most annoying part, he was cleaning up my side burns and the back with a razor and he CUT me. And there was no reason for him to be rushing. There wasn't anyone waiting and even after I paid he took a seat and continued talking to he coworkers. Now you can blame me for not speaking up but also the damage was done, I didn't want him to do anything else to my hair. I payed him in full, wasn't offered a discount nor did I bother asking for one even after I pointed it out to him. Lesson learned, I'll just go to my usual barber back home. read more

Having taken a few leaps of faith too many, Mark seems to be the only one here with any training. He himself is excellent, which is why it boggles the mind that he thought any of his hires had a baseline level of competence. The latest--and last --barber from here left my haircut uneven and incomplete. Having tipped well the other barbers who cut my hair, to come here again would be to debase my dignity and self respect more than I already have. I have received a few sarcastic inquiries as to where I got my haircut. I gave my referrals. read more

Was able to walk on in and leave with quite a decent cut. Appreciated the affordable rate, not needing an appointment, and relaxed feel.

So i landed in Chicago coming from California staying for a couple of days just to attend a wedding, and this place got recommended to me by a friend , and I couldn't be more happier, these guys are professionals and well trained experience barbers , the cut and the fade is amazing the beard is on point and the price is right for what you get Totally recommend guys, you won't regret it read more

The guy I go to is great. Prices are good. Everyone is nice. Would be a 5 star if they took appointments.

Awesome barbers, great service!! Amir is my favorite but everyone here is very talented!

Got an excellent haircut and style from Fariba. Great experience! I called a few minutes before I arrived and they were able to seat me immediately. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and Fariba patiently discussed what she thought would look good and talked me through my options. I was on my lunch break, so I appreciated the efficiency of the cut - she was very receptive when I told her I was in a hurry. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and appreciated that Fariba was not pushy at all but clearly very knowledgable and experienced. Overall the place had a great, clean atmosphere and great prices! If you're worried about being upcharged for anything (blow dry at the end, having thick hair, etc) just communicate with your stylist and ensure that you're only getting what you're paying for so there's no misunderstanding. read more

These guys are good. I've lived in the area for a long time and been to tons of barbers. For some reason a lot of the trendy places are charging 25 dollars for fades. With tip it ends up being 30 bucks. I cant go to cheap chain cutters because they pretty much suck. These guys are perfect. Decent price and awesome haircut. I found this place about a year ago and great cuts everytime. Usually there are a bunch of people waiting but they have a good amount of barbers and they dont take appointments. Theyve expanded recently and the new place looks great. They have coffee for while you wait. They have womens hairstylists to for ladies and thr other day I saw a guy getting a facial. They use straight edge to put the final touches on your cut and do your beard a small extra charge. Do yourself a favor and come here, you will be happy you did and you'll be looking fresh. read more

Absolutely amazing job by Aboud Diab !!! Very friendly and modern artist, who is not only amazing with the scissors, but he also gives everything from himself to satisfy the client ( even if the client is 9 year old little gentleman) ! Great job guys remodelling the place I wish you many years of prosperity! read more

Eddies was such a scam, the hairstylist told my sister that it would only be $15 but in the end turned out to be $45. Her excuse was that her hair was too long and too thick to cut. She didn't even do a great job because it is shorter than she wanted. Her inconsistent rate was very unprofessional. NOT WORTH THE MONEY My sister went there on Sunday and the hairstylist was the only one there. Not sure what her name is but she's Bulgarian. Would not recommend at all. read more

I told the barber to cut half an inch off the top and he ended up cutting 2 inches off. Hate it!!!

I've been here for the last 3 years and I absolutely love this place. Eddie and his crew are very talented barbers. I'm horrible at making appointments so I always just show up. My wait are never long even when the shop is busy, Eddie has a good number of barbers and they are all very skilled so I'm never waiting longer than 15 minutes at most. read more

Been going to this place for over 5 years. It's a one stop shop. Everyone here is experienced and can do anything. Great customer service too. I live by the lake and I drive 45 mins to get my haircut every 2 weeks because there isn't any better hair studio then Eddy's! read more

It's the worst place to have a haircut. I went to 5 different guys in the salon and only one did great job. Even when I showed the picture it didn't mean anything. I was going more then a year there, in September on my visit I was told that my barber is on vacation, looks like he never came back- smart guy. The barber did great job with my hair and when I heard I had no change then go with someone else. OMG- the guy said to me- I don't like your style, without asking anything he cut my hair very short . I guess he forgot that customers pick their style not the barber. He butchered my hair, i was devastated. After 3 months i decided to go back, hoping that something has changed. I went there because it's just around the corner of my house, I decided to give them another chance. I showed the barber what I wanted. He said no problem. My hair grew a little and I was hoping to get a nice style. What a mistake, he started to chop my hair all the very short even that I showed him what I wanted. They don't listen they do what they want. Don't go there read more
