Been with Burris for over 30 years. They use humans not a robot and I cannot count the times they have gone the extra mile for me . The lady in the office has been nothing but courteous and helpful. read more

They are the least expensive disposal option in my area plus they offer recycling but they are also the most unreliable service. You never know when your trash will get picked up. The recycling doesn't get picked up most of the time so I have to take it to the recycling center myself. read more

Worst disposal service ever. Totally unreliable. They show up when they feel like it. If you're thinking about using them, think again.

Our garbage service has been excellent. On the rare occasions they get behind due to staffing or other issues, you can call, and they'll promptly explain what's going on. They're reliable, courteous, and much better than our previous service. They always leave the area neat and do a great job overall. read more

If you like rude customer service and no idea when your trash will be picked up, this is the service for you. The "lady" who answers the phone should take a class from Republic read more

Terrible. Horrible inconsistent service. I had weekly pickups scheduled and they never once managed that schedule. Each time the pickup missed by more than a few days I'd call and would always get the same excuse - "Yeah, we're down a truck and they'll get there soon." This was delivered in a bored and annoyed tone. On one occasion they even argued that they couldn't pickup due to the weather - on a clear day with dry ground. After three times that pickup was delayed by two to three weeks I gave up, canceled with Burris, and found another trash service. Then Burris continued to charge me for two additional months. On top of that they added a charge for a "Twin Mattress" pickup, when I've never thrown out any mattress at all. Currently I'm arguing the bill with Burris and at the very least am trying to get them to confirm that they recognize the account as closed. It's been over two months now and they're still billing me for service that they've never provided. read more

Been in business since 1958 and they don't even have the common courtesy or professionalism to even reply back to an email asking a question about services? How lazy. Probably dodged a bullet. If their office service is this sloppy, I can only imagine what the trash service would be like. Thanks in advance! read more

I have had service with Burris since 2009 and it has been good, but ever since this summer the service is Terrible!! Not having my garbage and recyclables picked up for a Month and still having to deal with not knowing if my garbage will be picked up every week is Terrible!! I have called a lot and complained Nicely but Nothing Changes!! I'm mad that I still have to pay for my full three months of service when it Definitely wasn't a full three months of service!! In the Future soon I will be looking for and having a different Garbage Company pick up my garbage and recyclables!! read more

Burris Disposal is A+ in my book. They provide exceptional affordable service. Their workers are just that... WORKERS! I always recommend Burris when I'm asked to recommend a waste disposal service. They provide fine recycle pickup. And this business is locally owned. That's a big bonus. read more

My family has had their trash service since the 1980s. They are genuinely horrible. Sometimes they don't come at all, but of course still charge you. Their ancient trucks leave puddles of hydraulic fluid. They raise their prices constantly, and now when your bill is due, very rude employees call to harass you. Avoid them if you can. read more

I have used Burris for at least 10 yrs..maybe more. Their service at my residence is always on time and very competent. Aaron Judd is presently serving my residence. My family and Burris are fortunate to have Aaron as a service person..I couldn't ask for better service with his no-nonsense serious work ethic.Bob Camp,South Illinois route. read more

Great service, friendly and helpful driver. Dependable. Their website is very informative. Charges are fair and reasonable.

Burris Disposal does an excellent job. They are prompt, clean, and courteous. The costs for their service are extremely reasonable, and you get to speak to a kind, considerate, helpful person when you call their office. They absolutely deserve 5 stars! read more

I've used Burris Disposal for several years, and have always been happy with their service! Having a local family owned business to deal versus the big corporate guys has been a blessing, I can actually call and talk to a person without all the automated hoops to jump through. The guys on route are always friendly, and the gals in the office are always very attentive to my needs, whether it be billing questions, needing extra items picked, up or any questions I might have regarding my trash or recycling removal. I so happy I made the switch to Burris Disposal! read more

Started using Burris a couple of years ago , because I had problems with previous service. I don't have to worry about it anymore. They pick up when they say they pick up. Driver is friendly and polite, even leaves containers in upright positions. I recycle and this business is all I hoped for. Oh, and I'm saving money! read more

I've been using their service for about 8 years now both at home and at work. The only issue I've had with them this whole time was not taking electronics, which actually makes sense as we have a recycling center just for that sort of thing. They have worked with us for many odd requests; disposal of overstocked collectibles in a secure area, dumpster size changes and drop offs, even scheduled a time to pick up an old bed even after it has rained on the mattress for two days. Another fun exchange is they give everyone (at least in my area) gets hand written Christmas cards with candy every year, thanking us. We always make sure to give the guys cookies. So yeah, they're relatively inexpensive, willing to work with their customers, and though it might take a couple days for things like dumpster exchange, I'd recommend their services to anyone who is looking. read more

Do not let them drive on your road! They'll grind up any tar and chipped roads. They will also back over your recycling bins, even after they just dumped them and know where they are. Also they will leave shards of glass all over your road. read more

Unreliable services. Signed up with them for trash AND recycling. They would never come on Monday to pick up the trash- which was the only day they did recycling, so our recycling would pile up and they would "make it up to us" by picking up trash only on Wednesday. Then we could hope that they would pick it up the following week... hardly ever! When I called the office to complain the lady told me that she was just "a woman behind a desk" and she couldnt tell me why they repeatedly "forgot" my scheduled pick ups. I got fed up and went witha other local company. Dont waste your time with Burris!! read more
