This office is run like a joke. There are dozens of empty desks at the counter where clients could…read morebe helped but the staff seems to only work at the back desks away from the customers. When you do eventually reach a worker they inevitably are ill-prepared to handle your request. I always seem to find the worker that is "in-training". Makes me wonder what they do with all the employees they have trained over the last few years. Don't even get me started on the number of signs hanging around the office telling customers that cell phones are not welcome. Guess what ladies, if you want my insurance card you are getting it via my cell phone. Get over it... Setting the level of incompetence aside there is the issue of the working hours. The office is only open from 8-4. When exactly are those of us that work for a living supposed to come up to get our vehicle plates or amend vehicle titles? This tax-assessor has managed to destroy any semblance of customer service. It is my sincere hope that she is replaced soon and this office can be brought into the 21st century.

Would not want to go now at all. After research I found they only lived here a very short time of 4 yrs so really not much in the Bush history happened here. Customer Service is behind glass, with holes to push through money to them. If you want to stay with your car, they have a clear cylinder to receive money, just like drive through banks. The drive-in is open 7:30am -- 5:30pm. The drive-in and after hours depository are located in the alley behind the building.

They did a great job recreating it (at a smaller scale, of course) but it's still amazing to see up close, and you're allowed to walk through the pillars here, whereas in the UK you can't get anywhere near the actual Stonehenge pillars. We were on a road trip and when I heard about this place, I knew we had to swing by and experience it for ourselves. It was only about 15 minutes out of the car, but when you're driving across the massive emptiness of West Texas, every cool stop is worth the chance to stretch your legs. Stonehenge in Texas?…read more Actually it's a "Stonehenge Replica" of the mysterious United Kingdom sight, but it's still pretty cool. Located on the campus of the University of Texas Permian Basin, these sculptures are perfect for the setting... the bright football stadium lights in the background certainly give it a different meaning. Lol. Yeah, it's obvious it was "mechanically-cut" not to mention "stacked with cranes." But the saving grace, Paul D. (review from 1/27/2020), is not that this is a free permanent outdoor art exhibit, but that this sparked so many questions from my daughters, ages 9 & 10. We visited on Good Friday 2024. It was awesome to experience their curiosity and listen to their hypotheses on everything from the real deal far across the pond to the planning of this development. This would be even better to view at night time in my opinion, but our schedule did not allow for us to stay longer. Seniors and graduate students of the college stopped by to capture graduation photos while we were there. Ample, free parking.
