I thought we were going to have to replace the entire grill. Promise Appliance truly lived up to its name. They rearranged their schedule, came to our rescue, and essentially rebuilt our barbecue for a fraction of what a replacement would have cost. A special thank you to James Ferguson, the technician. The frame was the temp of a hot dog right off the grill and my ice cold beers and white wine inside were far from that. Monday morning rescue came from a call to this business found on CL answered by courteous bro Jason. " I can do between 10 and 2 today , either me or my brother Zak will be there". WOW! Today, and guestimate pricing seemed reasonable. I checked them out on Yelp and he said they were happy to accept their amazing $50 for $25 service coupon. Courtesy call at 1030 to say Zak was 30 mins out. Zak diagnosed, advised me he brought the correct part ( I had given Jason my model# on the phone) .. what a super deal I did not have to wait a week while the part was ordered, or get the usual " Sorry I don't carry that on my truck." By 1215 all work done, my fridge CHILLIN again and my bill in the well affordable range, at least $100+ less than Boulder competitors. He also answered my questions about what would be needed for hard-wiring the dishwasher and offered to switch it to an outlet plug for $125, which seems like a very fair price (I ended up not doing it since Bosch provides a junction box adapter for their dishwashers, but it's nice to have had the option). Install was great, everything seems to be working smoothly and he also figured out why the old unit was molded when I moved in (it turns out the drainage tube of the old unit had been inserted too far into the U-bend drainage pipe, so one end was perpetually in the wastewater standing in that U-bend, yuck). New dishwasher does look just a tad crooked under the counter but the unit is of a somewhat different size so this was likely inevitable, the old one had to have a custom bracket installed to straighten it out. I also really appreciated that Wyatt went through the features/demo'd the dishwasher model for me, there were a couple things I definitely would have missed on my own and he also explained to me about rinse aid, which I've never used before but this dishwasher model needs. Service was $215 total including hauling away the old unit, so actually slightly less than it would have cost to have the installation done by Lowe's (and I'm sure he did a better job). Fortunately I then found "Quality U Expect Appliance Repair". During our telephone call, Skip, the owner walked me through a few diagnostic procedures to determine the ice maker condition at no charge. As a result, his opinion was that ice maker was dead and needed to be replaced. Two days later, he arrived with a new ice maker and had it installed within about 15 minutes. Skip obviously new his way around the workings of a Samsung refrigerator, very knowledgeable, professional, and reliable. He is highly recommended!! I have used them once before and they did a great job, I called them explained the issue, not only did Skip explain the possible issues but he came out and did a diag and found a different problem. He was very forth coming with the price and what the issue was. He also let me use his personal cooler to store, my frozen goods. Would i recommend them OHH YES, will we use them again.. I was referred by another appliance place since apparently people do not want to work on old appliances. He also questioned why I wanted something so old fixed if possible and after hearing my reasoning understood. He looked up the parts the other company said I needed while we were on the phone, told me the ones that were still available, ones that were not. I asked him to order what the other company said and he said no, let me look at it first. He actually showed up! He tested everything and said I cannot recreate the noise you said you heard, (true, did not make any grinding noise, not a peep as I was standing right next to him) nor is it leaking as the other place told you, put the dishwasher back in the kitchen and use it. He could have said you need to replace the $350 motor, pump, etc., but was honest and probably thought I was nuts going without a dishwasher this long but I just did what the other company said, don't use it until....Naturally, never heard back from those two people. Being old, this is the type of company, customer service and honesty I grew up with which is now sadly lacking in almost everything. This is how a company should be run and I will be using them for all my appliances from now on as long as it is RANDY!

I was sitting in the same room so there was no excuse for doing this. The "labor" he performed was documented as "adding extra barrier to splash guard". He added tape and charged me $30 for performing this labor. Never showed me anything that was wrong, told me the tape was warrantied for 90 days again, after the "labor" had already been performed and I was required to pay the additional $30. First time running the machine again, the error is back, nothing was repaired and yet I was charged for this "solution". Very disappointed and the labor fee was not reversed or credited although this action was frowned upon by the manager. I was told it would be "coached". Unprofessional entirely.
