Not impressed. Suggest you go elsewhere for Wolf repair. We started trying to get in touch with them on 10/31. Their vm said they were closed that day (middle of the week) for a software upgrade and would be open the next day. They weren't. They weren't open the next day either. (I was in software - you do a software upgrade on the weekend, so as not to interrupt your business, not in the middle of the week - fyi). Took them almost a week to come after a got in touch with them. Then another month to schedule to fix our ONLY oven. We specifically switched from Miele to Wolf bc we were told the customer service was so great. The company we bought our appliances from suggested we use American Appliance to fix our Wolf appliances. I'll be calling them to ask if they have a different repair recommendation. read more

Easy to schedule a service to replace a noisy freezer fan. Called the day before to confirm and gave us a three our window. Came in the door with the part. Tested other components and recommend replacing the other fan. I felt he was honest about it and not trying to sell us something we didn't need. And of course cheaper in the long run to replace parts now. Cost seemed reasonable considering the cost of repairs nowadays. Especially compared to plumbers. Highly recommend American appliance for sub zero refrigerator repair. They completely rebuilt our vintage 1997 frig and were less expensive than the other guys and the parts and labor come with a better warranty. I have to say that Nick, and American Appliance as a whole, has been the most delightful company to work with when it comes to repairs for my Asko Dishwasher and Sub-Zero Refrigerator. To begin, my dishwasher had a minor problem, and the team was dispatched out earlier this year to look into it. Fortunately, thanks to their careful eye and documentation, they not only fixed the dishwasher, but noticed a faulty line that could have caused a leak in the future. They sent the images and documentation to Asko, and quickly came back with a brand new, higher-end model unit from Asko and replaced my unit for free. They did not even ask for anything in return. Similarly, when my freezer door was not operating properly last week, Nick came out, quickly solved the problem, and even helped repair a faulty touchscreen on the refrigerator proactively a week later. These people are professional, courteous, and careful, especially with the pandemic. The service from them makes me want to continue to purchase appliances from these brand categories because I do not have to deal with long waits on the phone just to speak to somebody on a 1-800 number. Approximately two years ago, my service technician retired. Since then I have received a tour of incompetent people "in training". They failed to fix my refrigerator after four visits - and over one thousand dollars later, I have a cold fridge and freezer but no ice maker! The whole sales and support model of SubZero/Wolf is antiquated and falls apart when you have incompetent support people. Their products DO NOT hold up any better than other brands which now enable custom panels. Save your money and save your sanity. DO NOT BUY SUBZERO/WOLF! chew on this fact: fridge is only 12 years old, double oven is same age. BOTH have failed and the ONLY authorized service agency in town is AmericanAppliance. This is just THE best appliance repair company. Very attentive and they follow up like clock work. They are always on time and give first class service. We had an ongoing issue with our Subzero icemaker and they kept at it, fixing it and it kept malfunctioning until we finally realized that the ice maker needed to be replaced. They were even able to get Subzero to cover the cost and the unit is at least 10 years old. The service tech, David was always professional and very knowledgeable. Never use this company. I have a high end Wolf cooktop. Technician arrived for a $109 trip fee and quoted $70 for a part. Then, a week later, said it would be nearly $900. This is the second time I used this company. They fixed a subzero refrigerator (after a 2nd trip). They say they support the high end appliances, but try to rip you off. Beware. Contact phone number: 303-777-0993 Golden, CO Service Date: August 20, 2016 My 10 old Sub Zero refrigerator hasn't been working for sometime with inadequate refrigerator compartment temperature not safe for food. My service agent was prompt with-in the time window given and had the problem diagnosed in under 15 minutes and just happened to have a replacement venting fan motor on his truck and the repair was finished in under 30 minutes ! My repair agent was happy to discuss why the part went bad and the technical aspects of the issue as a professional to an average homeowner. Just remember these guys are the repair pros and you are not ! If you could do what they do then you wouldn't be paying them to show up at your house. Also follow their advise as they likely have seen every problem with your particular appliance. The time/travel/labor charge will not be cheap (around $250/hour) for this highly trained/experience crew but if you attempt to do the same thing without the same experience you will waste precious time and money then break down and call them anyways. The repair I needed seemed simple enough if I had a clue what to look for and I did not. So happy to have my Sub Zero refrigerator working properly again ! Reliable? No way. What a let down! I have attempted to use American Appliance TWICE. Each time, I called for service and was given a three hour window by a very accommodating and friendly call center. I was told over the phone that the tech would be done at the end of that window of time, and NOT arrive at the tail end. However, after clearing my afternoon to wait, I was more than a little disappointed when the tech showed to the appointment within the last ten minutes of the given window. I understand their timing is not an exact science, but to keep me waiting for two hours and fifty minutes, show up at the tail end of a window without a call, is unacceptable. In response to their miscalculation, they kindly asked for me to clear yet ANOTHER afternoon and offered to try again. I think not. read more

Then the ice wasn't fully forming, so again they came back out to fix the water pressure valve. When I called sub zero to explain the issues we were having with our wine refrigerator unit they directed us to American Appliance, the only authorized service center in our area (although they are about 40 minutes away) while their customer service was very accommodating the service was atrocious. We've used them twice now for refrigerator and stove repairs. The first experience was fine-fixed my fridge door at a reasonable price. The second experience was great. Chris came out and repaired my stove-the burners weren't lighting and fixed the fridge door. I was probably being nit picky when he was done but said the door looked crooked and it did but I'm not sure it wasn't always that way. At any rate he said he would talk to some others and come up with an idea as the problem wasn't related to the repair. What earned him 5 stars is not only did he follow through but he also is the one that called me multiple times to schedule when the first time I had to cancel and he did the work at no charge. When you contact Frigidaire and they tell you your dishwasher is under warranty and they give you a reference number, and they direct you to an authorized service center to schedule an appointment with, you'd think there'd be no problem.
