Checking in was simple and straightforward. Employees are friendly, hard working, professional, helpful, and kind. Our room was wonderful. There was a kitchen, large table, big bathroom, comfy beds, a couch that turns into a bed, 2 large TV's, study table, etc. It was perfect! They did a great job keeping our room clean. Beds are comfortable and we all got plenty of rest. When we needed extra towels, blankets, and toilet paper, employees did an excellent job providing that for us. Some property amenities include: The Residence Bar, Fitness Center, Indoor Swimming Pool, Dry Cleaning Service, Free Hot Breakfast, Convenience Store, Free Wifi, and a Laundry Room. Checking out was also simple and straightforward. This is a wonderful hotel, that is not too far from The LEGOLAND New York Theme Park. I'm so glad we got chance to visit. The folks at the front desk were super helpful and kind throughout my stay. What lovely people they have working here. The lobby is chic and lovely and the restaurant looked upscale as well. My room was on the fourth floor and had a lovely view of the lush green fields and trees below. It has a king bed which was very comfortable throughout my stay. It also had a nice little kitchenette with a closer to full size fridge than you normally get in hotels. It als had a small seating area with a sofa and desk. Both of which came in handy for hotel working. It was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay (including Starbucks coffee and Coffee-mate liquid creamer in the room!). Get to it!

The breakfast at the Inn was included and was very attractively and cleanly set out but was not special. For some reason a reviewer raved about the breakfast there. It was not so different from other locations in the US. The room was very spacious, very clean with a beautiful view of the upper 1/3 of the CIA and the mountains beyond. Really pretty. In contrast to the large room, the bathroom was rather small. The toilet was behind the door. The water pressure in the shower was very low - obviously intentional as the sink water blasted out when the faucet was opened. It's sad to see how the Covid practice of limiting daily room maintenance has become a standard practice. And the cost of a stay has gone skyward. This hotel adds $10 per night for parking! That is a big time nickel and dime act. Would I stay there again? No. For the price charged, I'd rather stay in Rhinebeck. The front desk was polite as would be expected.

The guy was so nice/friendly even though I came quite late and he had to come out in his PJs (sorry!!!). When I got in (very nice parking spots btw, close to the doors and the keys are old fashioned kind), my little room was cozy and spotlessly cleaned which made me think it's worth the price. Driving in, we liked how the hotel is tucked away on a hill off the main road. As we pulled up, we were greeted with a beautiful view overlooking the lake and mountains. We were happy to find out our room had that same view, and the hotel also has a large balcony where you can sit and take it all in. Check-in was quick and professional. The older gentleman at the front desk had a rough, sarcastic sense of humor that gave us a laugh. There was also plenty of parking right out front. The room itself was good. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, the Wi-Fi worked without any issues, and the room was clean with no off smells. The rooms also had a fridge. That said, I do think the hotel as a whole could use a deep cleaning of the carpets. The lobby carpet especially looked worn and could probably be cleaned or replaced. There's a pool which we were glad to have. We met another family staying there and our kids ended up playing together. We also met an elderly couple who told us they come back every year just to relax which says a lot about the atmosphere here. One downside was the housekeeping staff. They were too loud in the hallways and could definitely use some training on being mindful of guests. There's no breakfast but they do offer complimentary coffee along with grab and go goodie bags in the morning with muffins and granola bars. It was a nice gesture but I think even a simple continental breakfast would make this hotel a much stronger value. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The views are the biggest selling point, the room was comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay with a great view and don't mind skipping breakfast, this is a solid option.
