But, if you are a young buying with bank approval trying to build your credit, let me give you a word of advice from experience: Do not cheap out on your purchase. The long term repairs and other odds/ends will cost you so much, you'll likely struggle. This dealership is not looking out for your success. They buy auction vehicles near Cleveland, invest nothing into them and try and sell for 70% over. I understand business if you clean the car up and fix what's needed, but not a quick flip. Economy Auto Outlet is shady. I was interested in a K5 on their lot. I made an appointment with Celeste. They are vehement about customers making appointments and not just walking in. When I arrived she wasn't there. A technician put me in the car for a test drive. When I started it a service light came up. When I returned I asked them the going finance rate and they said between 8 and 25%! When I told them I'd get financing elsewhere they were no longer interested in dealing with me. This is the first time I've ever left a dealership where none of salespeople gave me their card. As with many other reviews. I also didn't receive the Target gift card. A couple days later the price of the car increased by $4,900! Of course they don't mention that the car has been sitting on the lot since last spring and it has 4,000 miles more miles than listed. I called to talk to Celeste and she tried to tell me it was a different and then pretended she had no idea why the price went up. She promised to send me the gift card. Guess what never came? Made an appointment with Wendy Stoner for 5:30pm to look at a 2011 Honda CRV. Confirmed the appointment at 2:55pm by email. Arrived at the lot @ 5:34 due to traffic. Showroom is a ghost town. Salesguy finally appears, says "Wendy" is on the phone and tells me the Honda (listed on CarGurus for 18 days) sold 2 hours ago. Immediately offers a different vehicle. Nah. Wendy, who I'm fairly certain doesn't exist, never appears for the appointment. But, hey, I did get a random Target gift card for my 1 hour round trip drive! It may or may not be worth $5 or $100! The Honda I wanted to test drive on 2/28 is still listed on CarGurus as of 3/2/18. Please, save yourself the aggravation and skip this shady dealership. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Saw an ad for a Jeep Renegade and inquired about it. Asked all the right questions about any engine issues, body damage, etc before going to look at it. They assured us everything was great - perfect even. Made an appointment and drove 4 hours to go look at it and it was AWFUL. 3 spots of body damage, the inside was completely filthy and falling apart, upon leaving the parking SPACE the engine vibration was insane, and before we even got out of the parking lot the service engine light came on! When we went to talk to them about how upset and disappointed we were their response was "so you're not interested in it then?" Ya think?! This place is a dishonest, disgusting, scam of a dealership. Went in to buy a brand new 2019 tractor, signed the papers and here the dealer took advantage of us trusting him sold us a 2017 tractor with 13.1 miles on it, that's legally considered a brand new tractor. Upon delivery we found all this information out! The tractor had rust on it, the tractor had a faulty switch on it and the tractor wouldn't even start! The tractor had a dry rotted hydraulic hose on it. They took advantage of the elderly! Once the papers are signed they won't take it back and it's legal but not moral ! Probably like a half star experience! I'd definitely only use Economy Auto Outlet as an absolute last resort. This place is an all around circus! I previously had my loan secured through my bank so all I had to do was pick a car! These people let me test drive the car, send the paperwork to the bank to approve the car and send them the check. Asked me to switch the insurance from my old car to this new one so I could legally drive it off the lot. And when it was time to pick it up there was a 13$ lien on the car from the previous owner. I was told they would pay the 13$ and the title could then be transferred. Over the next week Id call or stop in to see if there was any updates there wasn't so I began to look for a different car! Luckily for me the guys over at RON MARHOFER BUICK GMC got me into a 2015 GMC Terrain. quick fast! I STILL NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM ECONOMY AUTO OUTLET!! Would probably still be waiting for them to call 3 weeks later! Best advice is to just car shop elsewhere! This place is pretty much an empty warehouse with cubicles, ZERO aesthetic! And to top it off most of these cars are mid at best!! read more

DO NOT buy a car from economy auto outlet. Nice people but the company is a scam. I've had my car for a year and a half and it was the worst decision I've ever made. When I test drove the car everything seemed great and running smoothly, 4 months into having the car it died outside of a tanning salon. My grandpa worked some magic and got it running again but then the heat stopped working and then spring came and the air conditioning stopped working. Then the car died again. Replaced the battery. Alternator went bad shortly after had to replace that too. My windshield wiper fluid doesn't come out anymore and Not even two months later after replacing the alternator and battery Yesterday my starter went bad and the car died again! There's clearly engine problems with the car too but hey as long as people get their money it's all good right? Be smart and don't come here for a car. read more

I purchased a vehicle at Economy Auto Outlet in July. When I inquired about the title, I was told it would be mailed to me. A month later, it arrived at my house, with the wrong middle initial. I called Economy Auto Outlet to inquire about rectifying the name on the title. They told me "there is nothing we can do. Call the title office." I called the title office and explained the situation. The title office told me it was Economy Auto Outlet's responsibility to apply for the corrected title. I called Economy Auto Outlet back and left voicemails with the salesman Heath and manager Steve. Neither returned my call. Poor customer service there. read more

The sales staff was nice and fair but the service department is the worst I have ever experienced.I took the car in very soon after I got it to tell them something was wrong with the oil in the car. They acted like i was just a girl who had no idea what i was talking about and proceeded to fix something that had nothing to do with what I took it in for. I took it home with assurances everything was great. The next day I took the car to Cleveland and ended up on the side of the road with an overheated engine with ZERO OIL IN IT! I managed to keep filling it enough to get it home to a local garage where they informed me that whomever had worked on my car didnt put the plug back on the oil pan tightly and I had been leaking oil everywhere. The car has never run right since, I have had nothing but problems with it and I finally saved enough money to take it in to assess the damage and they informed me I need a whole new engine due to all the damage the overheating caused. Considered more than once suing their butts off. I would never NEVER go there for service!. read more
