This place is a joke. No communication. Nothing. Waiting months on warranty repair. Go anywhere but here.

they are very easy to work with. They have been very helpful in getting the parts that I am needing from my warranty without me having to deal with Zline over and over again. Very knowledgeable. read more

Frank came and repaired my dual fuel oven and I am extremely pleased with the service. He was on Time, professional and explained exactly what happened and what he had to do. Can't go wrong.Call them when needed. read more

I called to have a technician come to my house to repair my cooktop. I made arrangements for them to be at my house on Friday between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00. I took time off work to be there. I got a text at 1:00 that the technician was on his way and should be there by 1:30. At 2:15 I called to see where the technician was and nobody answered the business phone. I called probably six other times to find out where the technician was, I even text them. I never received a call, text, email or even smoke signals from them to let me know that he would not be able to come. I wasted half a day of wages, and I still do not have my cooktop fixed. At this point, I would rather load my cooktop in my truck, drive out of state to the manufacturer to have this fixed before giving this company one dime of my hard earned money. read more

This company was referred to me through my home warranty to fix my microwave above my stove. The service technician came out and couldn't get out fast enough. Atrocious customer service. Said I needed a capacitor and it would take two weeks to fix. I called their office and asked for an update. They did not have any information from their tech and said they would call back later. After I didn't receive a call, I called next day to follow up, they screened my calls till I called from another number, then told me they could not fix it because it takes two people to take down the microwave and they only have one person. Really!!! Do not use these guys.. highly dissatisfied. read more

Contracted this company through my home warranty for a dishwasher repair. By far the best company we have had service our home here in Fresno. Communication was great - kept us up to date on timeline for repair, notified us when the technician was on their way, and always answered the phone and/or returned calls promptly. Thank you Jo for your great customer services skills. Our technician Frank was fabulous. Fixed the problem and was incredibly efficient. Would highly recommend this company to others! read more

I highly recommend Economical Appliance Repair. I first used Economical Appliance Repair when I was in desperate need of someone to fix my washing machine. I am a busy mom with small children and I depend on my washing machine to work properly. Frank responded to the call the next day and was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. He was neat, and organized. He left my laundry room just as clean as he found it, if not better since now my washing machine works! We have used Economical Appliance Repair several times. I get frustrated with the idea that things don't last anymore, or we will be constantly replacing appliances. This has not been true for us. Frank has been able to fix our washing machine twice and our refrigerator once. That's three times we have received superior service. Each time a Repair was made Frank took the time to explain exactly what was going on and how he was going to fix it. With every Repair there was never a surprise bill and every detail is explained. Every time we Repair rather than replace we are saving thousands of dollars! The professional service I received from Economical Appliance Repair is top notch and a rare thing these days. It's so refreshing to work with a skilled and honest technician. We trust Economical Appliance Repair with every Appliance we own, and have been repeat customers. Hopefully we don't need Franks' services too often but if we do we know who to call! read more

This is the best experience I've ever had with an appliance repair. My whirlpool washing machine was malfunctioning. The technician was highly skilled, very polite and explained in great detail how the machine functions what the problem was, and he had it fixed very quickly. Scott Penfield, the repair specialist was very polite and respectful which means a lot. Great experience. read more

Came out the next day, fixed our problem quickly was respectful of my home. Will use again if needed.

These guys aren't reliable, called them for parts that Samsung diagnosed on my refrigerator, parts I needed were evaporator, and temp module. The lady insisted I need Frank to come out to diagnose the issue, explained to her that Samsung has already diagnosed the issue just need parts and labor. I was even willing to have them come in and diagnose the issue but at least give me an estimate on those parts, she said she will talk to Frank and get back to me a week later still nothing, this is what happens when u give local businesses a chance they treat you like crap. read more

Horrible dependability, horrible Customer Service, Horrible company values.... do not use this company! My mother is 85 and fighting Breast Cancer. Our insurance company sent this company to repair our oven. We have a sign on our door requesting anyone entering to wear a mask to protect my mother's Immune system that is compromised. The staff refused and left!!! Again, Horrible Company! Do not use! read more

I have used Frank twice and I have nothing but the utmost regard for his service. He is honest, dependable and and his wife is superlative in her scheduling and keeping clients up to date on the process. The world would be a better place if they could clone Frank with his professional skill in dealing with problem appliances. read more

The dispatcher was rude. Unhelpful. The technician was supposed to arrive between 8-12 and wasnt there until past 12:30:why is it ok to waste my entire day... they can't dispatch a different tech?? Do they want to pay my lost wages?? I am not sure they are very skilled------------he didn't seem to have much knowledge and was very unconcerned that A he wasn't my whole day and B didn't think he could fix it. read more

If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!! I found Frank on Yelp. He is a small business owner that works from his truck. He arrived to diagnose my problem at my convenience and was able to text me when he was on his way. The charge for the initial visit went towards the replacement part and labor. He is courteous, polite and very hard working. He is knowledgeable and able to repair all household appliances from dishwashers to stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers,... I love to support independent, hard workers and Frank is one!! read more

Our oven stopped heating up on Wednesday evening. I called on Thursday to make an appointment, and was able to snag one for the next day. Frank arrived close to the estimated time even though we live up in the hills. He was very friendly and quickly figured out what was wrong with the oven. He even had the part with him, so he was able to get our oven working again right away! read more

I ran across Frank's owner-operated business here on Yelp and I couldn't be more satisfied as a customer. I called just before "office hours," he contacted me within the hour and was onsite less than an hour after that. He had my washing machine up and running before he left (the replacement pump was in the van!) and he cleaned out the drier vent while he was here. He was courteous, respectful of my sleeping tween (it's summer after all), and cleaned up after himself. I'm not sure what else I could have asked for in an onsite service technician. Payment only in cash or check, so something to be prepared for. read more

The communication from this business is a joke. In December 2021, a Economical Appliance Repair (EAR) tech diagnosed my broken dishwasher in response to a home warranty claim. He said he needed to order the part and it would take 2-3 weeks for it to come in. By the beginning of February, about 6 weeks later, I hadn't heard from them, so I called. The lady on the phone said she would check with the technician and get back to me. She never did. A few weeks later, on Tues., Feb. 15 I called again to find out the status of the part. She asked the Technician who told her the part would be in on Wednesday (the next day), and she told me they would get ahold of me to schedule finishing the repair. Didn't hear back and so I called again on Friday and left a voicemail message. Again no return call. About a week later tried calling again and left a voicemail message. I also sent a text message. Again, no reply to either my voicemail message or my text message. Finally, I called the home warranty company, Fidelity, to explain the situation and see if they could get a response out of EAR. Surprisingly, Fidelity said that in order for them to authorize the repair, they needed a report from EAR, and had never received one. So Fidelity agreed to follow up with EAR and within the week my dishwasher was finally fixed. EAR blamed the delay on "supply chain issues". If that's all it was, I would not have had any issues. The 2 stars, however, is for a complete lack of communication and follow through. read more

I called, left a message and frank returned my call within the hour. Unfortunately the prognosis wasn't what I wanted it to be, Frank was honest with me on how severe my issues were. Ended up having to buy a new one, but at least frank didn't BS me and do a repair on a dying washer and have it nickel and dime me to death with more repairs. Highly recommend him read more

We came across this company via our home warranty insurance company name CHOICE home warranty. Frank Quintana came & made the diagnosis. We paid him his $65 service fee and he said the insurance company will take at least 2 weeks to approve and get the parts. The very next day the CHOICE home warranty which is a TOTAL FRAUD denied our claim. We were left with no Refrigerator for 5 days. I called Frank's wife, and I asked them to help us. I asked for pricing, and they provide us with a fair price of total Parts and labor under $300. (He applied the $65 service fee as a credit to our project later on), they jumped on this project and Frank came to our house the very next day and brought the brand-new control board and made the repair and we had an up and running refrigerator same day. Anyone who gave Frank poor review are the ones via home warranty insurance companies which he has no control over their behavior. Stay away home warranty companies and go to Frank directly. He is the one you can depend on. His wife is a very nice and professional office manager, and she will be there to help you. I strongly recommend Frank for appliance repairs. read more

I was very satisfied with the workmanship and the price for my dryer and washer repairs. I called Frank on two occasions. First time for the dryer and he did a great job. I called him a second time for the washer. He did not disappoint me again. If you need someone for appliance repair you will be very satisfied with his business service. I give him five stars. read more

This was my first time using this company, and I will not use any other company! Frank was timely and reasonably priced. Very professional. He was able to have our washer machine up and running in no time. Especially after another company told me my washer machine was too "NEW" for there technician to work on. read more

Cannot say enough good about Frank the owner. My washer would not turn on. I read on the internet and it said that it probably needed a control board, cost about $300.00. I called Frank, he came out, unplugged it, let it set for a minute and it worked great. He said some of the newer machines would sometimes do that. He could have sold me a new control board, because I read on the internet that may be what was wrong. It is a real pleasure to have a person in the service business who is honest and reliable. If you want excellent service and a fair price, call him. read more

I called regarding a dryer making some pretty loud noises. Frank responded to my voice mail in a timely manner. He set me up an appointment for the next day. I phoned in on Tuesday 11/30/2021-a guy came out and diagnosed the issue in 5 minutes. He said he needed to order part (s). A woman called me on the day they were supposed to come out to make repair, (Monday 12/20/2021) leaving a voicemail stating that the part was not in and they would be out on Friday. No Friday date was left on the voicemail, I was left to assume the upcoming Friday, which would have been Friday 12/24/2021. 12/24 came and went- no call. I called several times, no answer-I left several voicemails, no return call. I decided to call on that Monday, 12/27 from different number, the woman answered. I explained that I had been waiting for parts for a month and I hadn't heard from them. It took the woman a minute to gather herself after my telephone call catching her off guard. (avoiding my calls). Once she gathered herself, she replied, "I meant that someone would be out on January 10th" which was not even a Friday! Review my timeline. That is a long time! Here is my frustration, if the part wasn't in, she could have said just that the part was still not in and I could have decided to wait or go elsewhere. Don't be unprofessional and not inform your customers of a reasonable timeframe. I would not use this company. Unreliable and unprofessional. read more
