With that being said, I finally made a visit here Sunday late afternoon on a whim. I started outside before heading inside to see all the other plants and things. Quite the selection inside and outside. I purchased my first hanging basket ever. I'm such a flower person and the hanging basket I got was so pretty. Inside has many different things from bird feeders to nick knacks to pots and candles and many different types of plants. It's well set up and I witnessed staff answering customers questions and offering their assistance. Cost wise I would say everything is fairly priced and some of the plants are so unique that it's a given you need to pay for something like that. Staff I engaged with were nice. Parking is street parking but there's plenty so not stressful. When it's time for me to look for a plant, I'll have to come back.

Signage for price, clearance (in the back towards alley), and shaded plants were clearly marked. I appreciate that while the staff was kind, they weren't overbearing and allowed you to shop and your pace. I ended up needing advice and found someone who was very helpful. They have shopping carts (I didn't notice baskets), but the space is so tight, I didn't bother using one. As for parking, it's just street parking but I was able to find a spot on the parkway. Anyway, I've passed by so many times and don't know why it took so long to stop in, but glad I finally did.

There are plenty of plants to choose from and I chose a hanging plant (not sure of the name) it came out to $27. They also have a variety of care products like shine spray and even some home products like candles! From the little I know of plants, they seem to have the basics of house plants covered! We scored a pretty healthy garden croton in a beautiful concrete pot for $44! We were expecting it to be close to $100. The staff was super helpful and friendly as well. They had an employee who makes terrariums and when she heard we had a fiddle leaf fig at home, she gave us a ton of good advice about caring for it. The terrariums they had for sale were great too, they had the cutest bamboo plant with little panda figurines in it that would make such a nice gift. The only thing to keep in mind is that we've had a ton of little gnats in our apartment since we brought the new plant in, so be prepared for some gnat-control. Regardless, I will definitely be back for some hanging planters and to support this amazing Native Woman owned local business :D

The front yard and backyard garden, previously tended by a previous homeowner, wS neglected by college student renters. We tore our old bushes and brush and asked the landscape designer @ Lilydale for help w reworking the yard w trees and native shrubs to welcome birds, bees and butterflies back. We started with a plan..that added a beautiful Jade Maple to our front yard and dogwoods and arborvitae to the back in year one. In year two we added 2 serviceberries and shrubs! The landscape crew carefully placed our plants and we love the results!

They have plenty of parking and many entrances and inside they have many sections, one for gifts, and the other is for greenhouse and then garden needs. They have a lot of variety of selections and a great place to go and stroll. The price point is a hit or miss some are pricey and some are decently marked, depends on what you're looking for and what you're buying. This location here is where they held their annual garden show. They even have a restaurant inside. Very nice big store very clean and a lot of nice and friendly staffs. Great place to come and find a gift for almost any event and everyone.

They do not have a fancy showroom or a lot of overhead...they provide quality products at the lowest prices I can find around the Twin Cities. I will continue to purchase my landscaping supplies (dirt, mulch, rock etc.) at Fra-Dor and recommend that all people check them out before purchasing elsewhere. Note: They offer delivery for an extra cost. I have not had them deliver, but I assume their delivery rates are comparable to their competition.
