Omar V. was fast to respond with a quote, showed up on the minute, and cleared a heavy two room job loaded with heavy furniture and tons of books. Do not use this company. Total bait and switch! I called early in the morning and explained I had an L shape couch that I needed to have dumped. Told the lady over the phone that it was a two piece. She explained it would be 149.00. They booked me between 2:00 - 4:00. Around 12:00 she called me saying they can come sooner. I rushed back home. They didn't show up until the original time which was 2:00. Once they get here they look at me and say this is going to be 275.00. Seriously!!!! They wasted my whole day and completely tried to scam me. Luckily I was able to call another company immediately and they were able to take it for 120.00. Update to your response - when I called your company the lady never told me it was an estimate. You completely wasted my whole day. When you came I explained to you that she never told me it was an estimate and you didn't care - you decided to leave. I called the company immediately and I explained the situation to the woman that answers the phones. she was more apologetic then you were and even called you to see if you can come back and especially since I had been waiting all day. You chose not to. It was a complete bait and switch and once again it was not an estimate over the phone it was a guaranteed price, she had even given me a discount. Omar and his assistant came over this morning to my house in Millbrae at 11am sharp , just as he said. I had a big jacuzzi in my backyard that was there for 20years. Omar knew immediately how to get it out. First he unscrewed my gate, or else it would not have fit going out. Then with a giant crowbar, he and his assistant got it out to the street with no damage to my house, fence, gate or anything. After it was done, Omar helped clean up and put the gate back up. I've dealt with all manner of dumpster, refuse, and recycling companies before in construction as an electrician. These guys were pros! Their dumpsters were in great condition and looked brand spankin' NEW. I've been sent on garbage duty in the trades and had to climb into a few in different stages of disrepair and rust, but what really impressed me was how quick and efficient these guys were. I saw this business online and decided to give it a shot. I had TONS (literally) of wood and metal and other miscellaneous junk all over my house. I ordered the 18 yard eco-dumpster online and the next day I woke up to my phone ringing and the driver letting me know he was on his way. The driver arrives, the mechanical arm on his truck unloads the bright pupil dilating green dumpster onto my driveway (without any damage) and I write him a check. Mr driver drives off and the race is on to fill this bad boy! The rental was for four days and we managed to fill it up over the weekend. We called them early to see if they could pick it up (we needed the parking) to my pleasant surprise they were more than happy to pick it up early! Yay! When they pick up the phone they answer as JunkGeneral so it may be a bit confusing. Eco-Dumpster is their dumpster service so ask for it if that't what your looking for. They will also come and do all the loading for you if your not the DIY type of person. One note for those wanting an eco-dumpster. While the price is pretty much the same as renting any normal dumpster they sort the dumpsters for recyclables. However to take advantage of their sorting they ask the customer to be conscientious in the loading by loading recyclables and donateables towards the top and not burying them. In other words loading the dumpsters in layers. I was really excited to write this review because I think this service is a step up from just trashing everything. Big kudos to these guys! read more

We hired a dumpster from Eco and they delivered it the same day. Pick up was also easy to arrange. Their bins have rear wheels which made it easier on the driveway vs. one from Sunset Scavenger. They were also $100 cheaper. We paid $400 for the debris bin. Will definately hire them again. read more
