I had moved whatever furniture out of the way beforehand but he moved bedside tables and beds to get underneath and put them back in their place! I found a gold ring had been left on my father's desk and asked my father about it. He said he thought he had lost it almost a year ago and said that was worth the price of the cleaning many times over! There was a light scent that dissipated after a few hours but I had no reaction to it. I would definitely recommend this company. I was really convinced that the couch was stained for good, but I booked MiMa to come try their hand at it. Within 30 minutes the entire thing was totally clean! It was really quick and professional, they were exactly on time even for an 8am clean and got right to work. Very friendly customer service as well, which goes a long way when you're stressed about your couch possibly being stained forever. So recently, we hired these guys to help us move since they seemed witty and pretty genuine. What a mistake! Bottom line: they were not careful with our things and caused hundreds of dollars in damage. We discovered quite a few damaged boxed but the coup de resistance was a smashed 40" television. When we called to point this out they said "too bad" and that it's all part of the risk of hiring movers! When we tried to argue with them they had the audacity to suggest that we smashed our TV before the move and planned to frame the movers for damage all along! As a final word of warning against us, they said that if we try to take them to small claims court it would be their word versus ours and there are more of them than us so good luck! When we dug a little deeper, it became clear that these guys are neither a legitimate business nor are they insured - which means when they damage something, they wash their hands and walk! Plus, we noticed that in the fine print of their contract they claim that they are not responsible for damages - in particular televisions, which suggests that they have a track record of breaking electronics. If you value your things, don't hire these guys. Get some reputable movers.

Being late, of course, they were only able to pick up a part of the junk and charged us full price and came back the same day to pick up the rest of the junk. So far nothing is overly wrong with what happened, we tried calling them several times as we had a contact to come and collect most of the remaining junk, after our contact got there they refused to stop working and claimed "we already did the work so he can take it but were going to charge you full price for it". Zero flexibility, not even a discount and it seemed pretty hostile towards our request all because they couldn't answer a phone 45 minutes before they loaded the junk in. It was nice that they were able to get to us on the same day. Save yourself a ton of money, rent a truck or trailer and do the lifting yourself. They were responsive and gave us great information on how to make the move as efficient as possible. The day of the move, we got to two awesome people helping us.
