He assigned us to a buddy site and said he would try his best not to have somebody in the site next to us. The site is very level and driving to it was a breeze. The water pressure is great at the site. John did apologize for the washrooms as he said he hasn't had a chance to fully renovate them yet, but if this isn't fully renovated, I'd love to come back and see what it looks like when he's done. The washroom was clean and very presentable. Heck there was even feminine products in case you needed them which I think is a great touch. The shower pressure was awesome and was nicely hot. In fact I think it was better than home. I agree with other recent reviewers in saying that if you're reading your review from 2024 or earlier, it's from the previous owner and not a reflection on the new owner. If it wasn't for the fact, then I'm from Michigan, this could become that secret camping place that I retreat to several times a year. I wish the owners all the success that they striving for.

The resort is under new ownership and the owner Jon has a vision for what camping should be. He and the staff are very friendly and accommodating The sites are large and private with plenty of trees. One night they had a food truck on site with great pizza. They even had a retro movie set up under the stars and a community fire pit. The staff let us know more improvements are coming as well. It was a beautiful drive up through the Adirondacks to get there. The resort is only about a mile from the beach on Lake Champlain and about four miles from the ferry to Vermont. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning again soon.

You will need to fill out a waiver - this can be done online ahead of time or at the gym. You can rent shoes, harness and a belay device. Chalk is readily available at wall dispensers around the gym. Until you pass your belay test, you will be restricted to the autobelays and bouldering. It's affordable and a great activity for kids.

Yesterday Bill taught the best yoga class I've ever had. Here's why it was the best. Gentle,…read moremeditative warm-up, gradual transition into poses. Bill is always teaching, softly weaving his explanations into the movements and poses. He started with Cat-Cow and creatively returned to that sequence in several advancing iterations as the class progressed. It was imaginative, interesting and my body loved the progressions. He taught a whole class once using the anatomy and physiology of the fascia as the theme, yet never "lecturing". I learned so much! He knows so much about the history and practice of yoga. This was a Level 1 class, other Levels are more advanced and active. There is a Restorative Yoga class I love, taught by Kelly. Lot of choices! The Studio is easy to get to in Burlington, with lots of parking. Staff is helpful and friendly, there's an easy atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. The studio is well-kept with large, open space. The heat is wonderful, not too much but enough to help bring a light sweat. I regularly recommend the studio to friends.

They are a excellent family center, with a pool available for both lap swim and recreational swim time (and you can rent it for birthday parties and other events). All in all, its a fantastic part of the local community.

Their website is easy to navigate, and they have enough instructors that you can try multiple different styles, but not so many that you can't stick to one you love. The classes are affordable and conveniently timed. I like to frequent their Sunday night flow class just after work to decompress after a long day. The room is typically a little bit warmer than I'd like (not a Bikram fan, thank you very much), but the room is lovely with plenty of Windows and natural light. I usually set up in the front just in front of a window to help me enjoy the second floor studio. My only possible critique of Burlington Yoga is that the location is immediately across the street from the Burlington Fire Department. It's unavoidable that occasionally a fire truck comes blaring out of the station and the sirens interrupt your practice. Vermont is at pretty low fire risk though, so your zen is usually left unperturbed.

I was offered unsolicited advice about how I should be careful with this lineage, and could get hurt. Then, during the first few sequences Piper gave a verbal assist to my downward dog. Her instructions weren't clear to me, and my adjustments were not aligning, so then she asked out loud "Do you know how to be in downward dog?". After class there was zero engagement from her and she stood holding the studio door open while I gathered my things. She was not giving any sort of vibe that she cared about making me feel like I would be welcomed if I returned. It was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience as a new student to her studio and that's why I've never returned. I see she has a different studio now in Shelburne. Unfortunately, she's made a lasting impression and I cannot recommend her as a result.
