I wish there was an option to add pics to my review, so everyone could see how great of a job Abby did. I wanted an ombre look, and she helped me achieved that with a technique called hand-painting (balayage). The result was even better than what I had in mind. I absolutely love how focused she was in the process, as well as how she made sure i understood what exactly was being done to my hair. She was also very honest when discussing which products I should use to maintain the strength/color of my hair (dry shampoo, syrum etc.) Abby knew what she was doing, and her expertise really helped me achieve my desired result. I have been coming to this salon for YEARS! UNTIL TODAY A NIGHTMARE! I was basically BLAMED for HALF of my HEAD OF HAIR FALLING OUT FROM ROOT & SHAFT, even a lot while at the salon! But I'll explain EVERYTHING! I needed my roots dyed, ( reverse ombre ) & a hairdresser dyes my hair from ROOT to SHAFT instead of SHAFT to ROOT! I should have known right there something was wrong b/c as hair turns it turns faster from heat, so placing bleach on the root of the hair before shaft would cause the bleach to act faster thus usually roots being last to be bleached. So this hair dresser was going quite slow with putting the bleach on quite slow.. WHILE my roots were already going very light very fast! Something I'm not used to. So time passed & passed & my head began tingling quite a bit it began to kind of worry me b/c it has never burned this bad. But before long they came back to tell me to wash it. Initially i was like okay, washed great. So it seemed my hair was quite lighter than usual, I usually get it a safe bleach color which I expressed this with the hairstylist, that I don't wanna go too blonde, but a SAFE blonde, which is a honey blonde maybe a bit more orange like the other blonde in my hair. My hair was blonder than expected but I didn't worry none the less b/c I told them to use Olaplaex for my hair so i figured maybe the burning was nothing to really worry about. NEXT THING I KNOW! I run my hands through my hair & CLUMPS OF HAIR BEGAN COMING OUT! She goes, "Oh that's normal." so nonchalantly to my face as I continue to pull out MORE & MORE! I will even post a picture of just the bag i got from coming home & washing it MYSELF! I ask EVERY MEMBER in the salon "How is this normal!?" All of them turned on me & basically blamed me for the reason of my hair loss, as it still is coming out as I'M CRYING! I WAS CRYING! &&nd NO ONE TOOK RESPONSIBILITY & APOLOGIZED! They said it was b/c I used Keratin Conditioner!? BULL! I've been coming here for years & this has never happened with me using that conditioner, & i didn't FILL A BAG with my hair the night before! I'm crying, leave the salon a mess, & get home & wash my hair & clump AFTER CLUMP COME OUT! I'm still crying thinking about if my roots are damaged now, & have no clue how long before the hair just begins to just break off from bleach damage, which once again! I've been getting my hair bleached for YEARS & this has NOT ONCE EVER HAPPENED! It is completely UNPROFESSIONAL to BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR HAIR LOSS! They completely shunned the fact that I was crying & that COMPLETELY disregarded the fact of me saying this has never happened, EVEN THE ONE PERSON I THOUGHT I TRUSTED MOST AT THE SALON backed this person after DESTROYING MY HAIR! The hair Leslie helped me out so MUCH TO GROW! I loved Leslie for looking out for me & taking care of my hair with bleach. But CLEARLY! She too thought it was NORMAL FOR CLUMPS OF HAIR TO BE COMING FROM ROOT & SHAFT OUT! I even CALLED BACK just to see if they'd acknowledge what they did to me after I came home & washed it & told them how much came out. Once again I was to blame & there was nothing they were willing to do. $100 DOWN THE DRAIN! Oh wait! $100 to damage my hair until it falls out. I will NEVER be back to this salon! For EVERYONE To come together & NOT ONE PERSON SAY THAT THERE'S A POSSIBILITY IT WAS THEIR FAULT it COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, & to just blame the client right!?! RIGHT!? I didn't bleach my hair, I went to a supposed PROFESSIONAL to do it. &&nd what happened, half my head is bald after all of this! I'm so disappointed with this salon & Leslie the most b/c she had my heart. Sucks to have to say goodbye. But if you think bleaching hair till it falls out FROM THE ROOT & SHAFT & a bag is almost full is normal after getting it bleached then I can't respect that or You or these people. Beware! read more

I was in St. Peters for work, and I needed to get a haircut since I hadn't had one for a long time. Eclips was close to where I had to work that day, so on my lunch break, I decided to go there and get a hair cut if they could work me in. It had to be within a half hour because I had to be back at work. Leslie took me, and had giving me my military buzz cut in about twenty minutes or less. It was quick and easy, and I greatly appreciated the service that she provided because she was quick and good. It's not difficult to do a military buzz cut, but she did; I liked the results. I've been here twice and have left happy both times! The second time around was even better than the first because Dawn, the owner, gave me one of the best cut and colors I've had in a long time! She listened to what I wanted and then knew how to apply that to a great style! It's reasonably priced, I can get in when I need to and the salon is clean. Would highly recommend! read more

I recently moved to Missouri but last year while I was visiting family here I desperately needed to do something with my hair. I found Eclips down the street from where I was staying and walked in. That's when I met Jo. I don't know why but I put my hair in her hands and was blown away by such a beautiful job she did with a new style and a new hair color. The only problem I had was that I lived 1,000 miles away at the Jersey Shore. Since I hadn't been back in Missouri until recently I had let my hair grow out again. I decided on a whim to call Eclips today hoping Jo was still there and if she was available today. She was!! I decided to stick with my natural color but had her cut and style my hair as she had the 1st time. The style is fabulous and it makes me feel sexy and young again.
