Well, yesterday I had to find someone to help us with a now busted pipe (hole in pipe size of a golf ball) I asked around in our neighborhood Facebook group, and they all recommended All about Septic, so I called them again to help. Jason and Tiffany really worked with us to make it possible to be taken care of. As a single income family in this economy its hard and we are scraping by, they really made an effort to help when it was needed. Water smells like farts and has for the last month and a half but nothing has been done, even though they have been here three times to "fix" the problem. I spoke to the owner today. He said in front of Godfrey we would rebed the softener at no charge and come out today to test the water. Jimmy shows up and proceeds to tell me, now he is going to charge me. The system we bought was supposed to last 7-8 years but needs to be replaced now. I asked why they didn't sell us a system that would work better. He said, "Hindsight is 20/20." He said the filter needs to be 18" instead of 12". Justified the fact that the maintenance people didn't change the filter because it was hard to open!!! Again, why did they install the wrong type. I told him we rely on experts to tell us what we need, we would have bought the system they told us would be best for our water. He told me he would send us three options to correct the fart smell: a good, better and best. Good turns out to be the free rebedding he offered this morning when I spoke to him in his office with his tech Godfrey. That turns out to be the "good" option at $1500. The best involved buying new waters systems, with the "best" being $9000. We are not spending anymore money with this company. We wasted too much money on subpar equipment and work. Restored Water Treatment sent this picture when he came out to fix our system. It needed to be cleaned and some of the system was installed in the wrong order. We didn't need a new system, just a reworking of our current one. The kinestico head was junk and had to be replaced.

I was scheduled for between 12 and 4pm a few days later and the driver arrived at 12:15. Since this was not an urgent matter, I agreed to wait. Called back in 3 days, thinking that gave him enough time to fix the truck, only to find out that my number was blocked. I tried to call using my wife's phone and Mike picked up the phone telling me that he will not be able to come because he is out of town and asked to give him another few days. I gave him another 3 days and called him back. Mike blocked my number and my wife's number. I was shocked, so called him from my house number and Mike told me that he is sorry, but he still did not fix his truck, but if I should give him another 2-3 days he will find the way to make it to my house. I was outraged and just sent him a message not to bother. I waisted over a week with a company that absolutely does not care about customers. If you don't want to be treated the same way, don't waste your time with Mike ( Ashton Septic Tanks ), and find a company who are real professionals.
