Never will I stay here again. First, it's more seasonal than anything. Their spots are way too tight for anyone with a 25' or larger camper. Oh, let's just add the nice spacious spots that we found that were open, but I guess those were reserved. Now, let's add the "help". Thanks to their "help" that "guided" me through a very tight turn where I ended running over an overgrown stump... literally while he tells me it's all clear and he is watching me within inches of the stump. The damage he caused me is more than my trip cost. Horrible... stay away. The activities are subpar if you have kids. Like I said, it's seasonal and spots are way to tight for larger campers. read more

I never see anyone actually working here, although the young girl in the office who doesn't know much is there once in awhile. I was told by my neighbor that the manager Stephie took over my other neighbor's trailer who hasn't been there in over a year because he is really sick. I think with cancer. When I say took over, she is living in it. The manager removed my neighbor's belongings, painted the inside and moved in. I am pretty sure that my neighbor Mr. Creelman doesn't know about this. I like the camping site and the proximity to the beach but this place is getting ridiculous. Ever since the corporation took over things went down hill. I hope the people with new park models in here don't ever get sick because the company will take over your trailer if you fall behind and someone from the company will be squatting in your summer home. read more

Where to begin. This journey half of the time was a nightmare. I will start by saying we like Danielle the manager of the grounds, I just want to clarify that before we go any further, but she could have done more to assist us us with the issues rather than allowing this to get to the level it did. I'll summarize and then you can continue to read if you like. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE UNLESS THEY ACT LIKE GRUMPY OLD MEN. This place is full of people who fabricate stories and campers and manager and other members can attest to that. For starters, it was not Danielle with whom I spoke when I arrived. There was another woman here and she had no information on our booking, other then she was told we were coming. After waiting, we then met Danielle. She told us that the campsite they had us booked in someone else had trouble getting their RV into and she would show us other sites that we felt comfortable getting our camper into. We asked her if she had a smaller truck we could use to maneuver our camper into the site (most grounds do) and she laughed saying there was a reason the camp grounds were purchased and that they had nothing. We then picked our site that we thought was perfect. What she neglected to tell us was that we were surrounded by senior citizens. We have a family with six children ages 7-2. One of the children, is my six-year-old nephew who has ADHD and Tourette's and we do our best to keep him grounded however at times it is difficult. No one is understanding of this, they just look at him as an unruly child and they openly talked about him to people sometimes in front of him. As you can imagine a child's feelings would be hurt having someone say bad things about him right in front of him. The people around us had done nothing but complain since day one for children doing nothing more than simply being children. The complaints address against us which have forced my family to leave, are as follows. More than two cars on our campsite. Many sites have more than one car, but again we were targeted. Children being noisy (as kids are). Children taking toys at the pool. Every child at this campground used our toys at the pool without even asking, we always made sure our children asked and we double checked there were no issues with parents only the elderly complainers looking to have us moved. Honking our car horns after hours. The letter written to us states LOCKING OF DOORS so much for security. Child entering neighbors RV, and child breaking property. Allow me to clarify those last two complaints, my son who is 2 opened our neighbors shed door while I stepped inside to grab him his bathing suit. I addressed the situation at that moment apologizing and requesting he be more understanding that he is a child. I also suggested that maybe he put a lock on his shed, he didn't like that. The other complaint references a reflector marking a driveway that was broken, this was brought to our attention by the same neighbor. We apologized and said we would go and buy him a new reflector however our Walmart did not carry the reflector that he had. Because we did not buy him a reflector as quicky as he would like (mind you this maybe 3 days later) he complained to management. He informed of this during his rant about my son opening his shed door. There were 3 pools at this campground before now there is only one, and the elderly people make it very clear that they do not like this. The pool has 4 sections 1, 3, 4, and 5 feet. they continually say that children are not allowed in the Five foot even if they can swim. Mind you, there is no sign anywhere that says children cannot be in that part of the pool. The only signs say that there are no lifeguards on duty and children must be accompanied by adults. However the miserable people here have taken claim to the 5 foot because of their disappointment with the three pools now becoming one. They are very vocal about this, just ask them! As I listed I have a two-year-old but they don't want him in the 1 foot part of the pool either when they are sitting there trying to read their books. So let me ask you this, where is my two year supposed to swim? Should we just not allow children at the pool because you're miserable? Those who have complained about children using toys at the pool have no children, they are not their kids they are not their toys, however they feel that it is their duty to go and complain even though the parents of the children who actually have purchased the toys have no problems with the children at the pool sharing toys. These people are ridiculous. We have family that has been here for 15 plus years, we have had our children here before with no problems, but since we decided to make it our seasonal home we have had nothing but problems. All of our issues could have been sorted with a simple campsite move at the beginning of our stay but instead they allowed people to continue to fabricate stories and this has forced us to go. read more

Let me start by saying Wow!!! I never knew a campground could make such dramatic and positive improvements in such a short period of time. My mom has been at this campground for many years and we frequently visited with our children, sometimes leaving my children so my husband and I could spend time alone. In 2016, we began looking to purchase our own site and trailer for our family so we could all be together. There were plenty for sale within walking distance for my children to my mom and also the basketball court for my son. However, my personal observations plus the feedback I received from others at the campground regarding management issues made me refrain. Some of the issues i knew included employees stealing from campers, disgusting behavior in the public bathrooms/showers, left uncleaned for days, nobody monitoring who went in and out with the gate being up all the time and no manager to be found to address the security concerns. Not surprisingly, thankfully, she was nowhere to be found when I was looking to purchase either. Although, I believed, at the time, the problems were not her fault, as she would blame "corporate" for forcing her to hire ex-convicts and not enough money for salaries and security, etc. Regardless, the thought of bringing my family there for a home away from home, was out of the question. My mom even talked about leaving, but ultimately stayed. Due to the issues observed in 2016, I I barely visited my mom in 2017, despite her assurances of new and better management and no more safety concerns. However, the few times I visited in 2017 and now during set-up in 2018, I realized my mom was right. The new management is 100% better. She listens and is attentive to everyone. She addresses any issues that arise, personally and professionally. She also knows and pays attention to who enters the campground and ensures the safety of everyone on the premises. The difference is amazing. I never knew that one person could make such a significant impact on the environment. She certainly has taken this campground and moved it in a positive direction. Keep up the great work! I look forward to, once again, visiting and feeling safe and comfortable with my family at Echo Farms. read more

Very clean campground. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful and clean. The bathouse is kept very clean and has an attached laundry room. Sites are spacious. The location is perfect- about a 5 minute drive to Sea Isle, 10 mins to Ocean City and 25 minutes to Wildwood. Already can't wait until we come back. read more

Relatively small Trailor/ RV camp although there are 300 sites with 3 pools and super quiet yet close to sea isle city with rt 9 at your back. They charge for Wifi which is pathetic and aren't really on the ball but they're very friendly and at $50ish a night for complete RV hookups the price is right (mostly seasonals) for a weekend getaway close to the ocean with plenty of scavenge able wood Bonus. read more

Ok so I don't understand why it's called a campground cause it's not !!!! Not for campers we have a 45 ft motor home and they only had 3 sites and that was it just 3 !!!! I don't write reviews but I am this time .... all annual lease not for campers ... NO STARS ..,,, will I give if not for my sisters graduation I would have left !!!! I will start by saying I am not a happy camper right now! LOL I am visiting from Florida and decided we would join friends of ours on a 3 night camping trip to Echo Farms. Pictures looked beautiful and pool looked refreshing. So, we drag the 26 foot RV to the campground and the fiasco began. We arrived at 4:30 pm and was ready to begin our fun weekend. Well to our surprise there was nobody managing the office. We look around thinking maybe there was another office but to our disbelief there was not. We were at the right location with nobody to assist us. There was a sign stating office hours were from 9-5 pm. As we are trying to figure out what to do an elderly lady drives by and ask if we needed assistance. We told her our situation and she informed us that her daughter is the manager and she was on vacation. Seriously? We were advised to drive around the campsites, pick one out, and deal with it later. Somebody failed to let us know that a 26 foot RV and Ram truck was not going to fit down the extremely narrow roads or the very little campsites! Our first mistake was to not adhere to ALL the bad reviews we had read to begin with. Needless to say we were now at the Jersey Shore with NO campsite!!!! The campground is 90 percent seasonal campers that are not very welcoming to weekend guests! read more

My family has been in Echo Farms for three years and we love it. Small and quiet. The pool was just renovated a couple years ago and is absolutely gorgeous. The bath house was also renovated and is extremely clean with a laundromat attached. Always a lot of activities for both children and adults to be involved in. Management does a great job maintaining the campground - does all leaf removal/site clean up before the season starts. Less than 10 minute drive to Sea Isle with a number of surrounding restaurants, nail salons, Acme, CVS, etc. read more

We are seasonal campers and have a blast at Echo Farms. The employees are ready to help with all of your needs. It is like a big family. A lot for kids to do and not to far from the beach, Wildwoods or O.C. A great place just to hang out. They always have something fun going on during the holidays. read more

The park has potential but it's not quite ready yet. About 90% of the sites are permanent so the residents would never notice many of the problems we had. It's an older park so the roads are narrow and twisty, but we made it. The first unacceptable encounter was low hanging branches on the roads. There were places I was getting scrapped on both sides and roof with no way to avoid. The drive out was the same. This is easily fixed with trimming and is unacceptable. Nobody wants their RV damaged this way. Our site was recently occupied by a seasonal that had been demoed. The site was not cleaned or prepared for occupancy. We found various sizes of metal and wood screws laying throughout the site, tires are expensive. The ground was never smoothed out, we had to park the motorhome in the sandy excavation where the permanent unit sat. A load of stones in that area would help greatly. There were mounds of dirt, decorative stones, and sand in haphazard locations. A partial patio was still present, and landscape edging was everywhere. There were also extension cord wires buried and left cut off and exposed in various places in the site. The sewer connection had damaged threads and the fact it was horizontal made it impossible to hold in with a weight. The pipe was not glued below grade since it moved freely. The pool was also a disappointment. Both days there was dirty sediment on the bottom and there were the frogs, yes little frogs in the pool. We ventured back later that evening and checked the skimmers to find dead frogs in them that were bleached white (how long does it take to bleach a dead frog white?). Then there is the laundry, we wanted to do a load of clothes. There is a kiosk in the laundry room, no coin machines. So you must open an account to use it. OK no big deal, enter your personal information then your credit card number, then came the surprize. You must place money into your account to use the machines, $20.00 minimum. No way are we paying 20 bucks to do one load of laundry, so travelers beware there is no laundry for you to use. I called the company twice and left messages to have our account deleted, but they never called back. The Thousand Trails website states a $4.00 fee for members to stay as does the park brochures. We were charged $20.00/night. Get it together folks there is no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism. On the upside, the WiFi and cable TV worked well.
