Everyone that works at the campground is nice and all the seasonal campers seem very pleasant. Bingo on Friday nights is fun. Oh and best of all it is very reasonable for a week at the shore, so close to sea isle city. No camper? They rent beautiful campers so you too can enjoy a week of camping like us.

Bathrooms were kept decently clean. I didn't appreciate that they have coin showers. If I'm paying nearly $50 a night to camp I think a free shower is reasonable. They have some bullshit sign on the wall that they charge for showers to reduce water use. Yeah, sure. Very believable.

Well, maybe, but you only get what you pay for. 2. The staff here has been nothing but phenomenal, they have been working like crazy and I feel they are completely under-appreciated. This place has so many good reviews that are based simply on the job they do. 3. There are isolated issues, sometimes, but thats life. Things aren't always going to be perfect. Look at the big picture. But they sure as hell try to fix any issue. 4. Thank you OVR for the best thing weve ever done as a family. This will be our 2nd home for life. The campers are large enough to sleep eight people - some snuggling and air mattresses might be required, but it can be done!! The area is incredibly dog friendly, and there's a cute playground for kids. If you live close enough to warrant the occasional drive, this is a lovely place to regroup and relax near the Atlantic.

It's fairly small and there aren't really any amenities at all, and while some would certainly be nice the absence of them really adds to the super relaxed atmosphere and keeps away the crazy party atmosphere at some campgrounds. A really nice place for the kids as well (again minus the amenities). Everyone knows everyone so you can be pretty comfortable just letting them go enjoy themselves while you relax. Less than 10 minutes from Sea Isle City - with great summer concerts. Only 15-20 minuets (at the most) from the Ocean City boardwalk, depending on which side you want to be on.

We just came back from a 4 day/3 night stay at this campground which was lovely…read more It's located on route 9 and the South Jersey beaches are a quick drive away. Nearby is a gas station, a grocery store, and a few eateries so the location was very convenient and easy to find. Prices were reasonable and the staff went above and beyond at check in to explain their policies and were readily available to assist with your needs. There is a $20 cash refundable gate pass charge at check in. We were escorted to our site (upon request). They will also lend you their beach passes for a $20 deposit + $3 per day (used or not, in your possession) which is a savings of $2 over getting them at the beach. They have a store, a few wifi spots, and a nicely equipped gym. A koi pond outside the office/store is a nice place to sit and relax. Our site was large and clean and contained a fire pit and picnic table. The soil was sand based and flat which made leveling our trailer easy. We were surprised that our site was full hookup as we were told at time of reservation and at check in moments earlier that sewer was not available. There was also a clean bath house nearby, which could use some signage. The campground had a playground and doggie area - neither of which we used, a large pool with deck, and a snack bar open selectively ajacent to the pool. The pool area had umbrellas, chairs, and loungers as well as a smaller off to side gated area for smaller swimmers. The area surrounding the pool had a small flower garden and was quite pretty. However, the pool was NOT relaxing at all, as the music blared loudly, so much so that I couldn't talk to the person beside me. And the playlist was just awful! I did ask the lifeguard to turn it down (which they did) but it was still loud and annoyed me so much that I left. The pool was open till 4 weekdays, and 7 weekends. The campground was quiet and the staff and campers alike super nice, some of the nicest we've encountered actually. Outside of the beach there wasn't much to do as the season in NJ doesn't really start till July so I regretted not booking later so we could have taken in some activities, so that was a bit of a bummer. I'd stay here again in season. If you want to stay a few times off season ask about their gas saver program. It's worth it!

While we do make good money for our ages we still didn't want to spend too much money on a place to stay.The price good not be beat! When we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly camp staff. The area we were given was neat and tidy. We all set up our tents and were good to go. I wish I could say more about the vacation, but since this review is about Frontier. I'll continue on about frontier.. 1. The showers/ bath house.. They were very well kept and clean.. I'm glad they had a dry area to keep your hygiene stuff in. The water is warm.. some campgrounds only have cold water.. The showers are nicely tiled. It's almost like they thought of everything you'd need and installed it in the bath house. 2. Camp Site: although our particular site was small, We were able to make it work & we can't complain because it's what we paid for and the staff was very lenient with where we stored our stuff. We had water and electric which is very nice to have especially in the electronic world we live in today.. We were able charge our phones and wash the dishes we used to cook. 3. Store & Recreation: The store had a lot of stuff for the unprepared camper.. so you shouldn't have to venture too far to get stuff if you forgot something. We were pretty prepared as we were once boy scouts. They sell ice to keep your goods cool and wood for the fire pit at night. They have a playground for children that's in good shape, Volleyball court and stage for events. They aren't too too far from the beaches. We would've been happier if they were closer to the beach but its hard to put a campground near a beach. Overall, If we were to visit New Jersey again, there's a good chance we'd stay here again.. They're are other places we'd like to see in the country though.

Being our first trip with a massive 42ft 5th wheel I was extremely relieved to be greeted and assisted. Several staff offered assistance backing in. Each spot is cozy and displays well maintained amenities. Extremely clean bath houses, even the soap dispensers had soap in them! We decided to extend our stay after an amazing few days! Each road and site has a compacted layer of crushed asphalt and clear direction on which way to travel. Open Season Spots at this site won't last long once people see the all new attractions such as pool, handicap accessible cabins and mini golf. Also have a large beautiful pavilion and cornhole tournament area. There is a kids playground, basketball court, general store stocked with must have essentials including ice cream soft serve and breakfast eggs, etc. Have pets? There is an enclosed dog park! Great water pressure and daily pump outs if you call before 10am! The owner Gary is very approachable so is all the staff! This place is a perfect balance between outdoor tranquility, fun, and creature comforts. We are so happy we came across this place! Thank you to the staff for a truly memorable start to 2023!

We don't own an RV and tent camping is not for us. We found this gem in my search for a place to stay. The cabins are gorgeous! Brand new with full kitchen, bathroom/shower, 2 bedrooms, with comfy futon as well. The amenities were great - brand new pool with splash pad, mini golf, nice new playground, and basketball. The shop is also nice to get some ice cream, and to pick up anything you might have forgotten. Beautiful new pavilion too! We would absolutely stay here again when we want the woodsy experience by the shore. It's centrally located too to many shore points. Ocean city is 25 minutes or so away. Same for Wildwood/Capemay - we spent one day in Ocean City, and another day in Wildwood, and ended with dinner in Cape May! FYI - the water smells like sulfur here. Not their fault, but I personally wouldn't drink it.
