In December of 2014 I contacted eBuilt Homes and Loans for a refinance to remove my brother as a co-borrower so he could purchase a home of his own. My husband and I were quite certain our home was underwater and we did not have the money necessary for home improvements to raise it's value at the time. Every other lender I had contacted wanted us to pay hundreds of dollars for a home appraisal with no assurance they would continue to assist us if the appraisal came in low. After a month of contacting more agencies than I can count I found eBuilt Homes and Loans online and decided to call. After speaking with owner Scott Greenlaw for a few minutes I knew I had finally found the help I had been looking for. Our primary contact during this process, Operations Manager Jennifer Garland, was unbelievably helpful, patient, and professional. She treated all of my questions with respect and I never had an email or phone call go more than fifteen minutes unanswered. When our appraisal came in just short of our closing costs they found us options knowing that we did not have much money to spend. In the end they got us approved for a streamline which reduced not only our closing costs but our monthly mortgage payment. They also managed to do all of this in one month (during the holidays). All the other lenders I had contacted had told me this process would probably take several months.
