I don't typically write reviews unless I feel strongly compelled to do so. Unfortunately, my…read moreexperiences with Dr. Matian and his office have become increasingly frustrating, and I feel obligated to share them so others can make an informed decision before becoming patients. If I could give this practice zero stars, I would. I've been a patient for a little over three years, and I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking any sort of timely, attentive, or effective medical care. I have never actually seen Dr. Matian in person, even after multiple attempts to make in-person appointments. My most recent appointment was a brief phone call that lasted a little over 3 minutes. During that call, I was told an order for blood work would be submitted. A week later, after hearing nothing, I had to contact the office myself to follow up because the order had never been placed. What was even more concerning was that once I followed up, the office asked me to identify which blood tests had been ordered. I'm still not sure why they couldn't verify this information with the "doctor" who was supposed to have submitted the order, or review my medical chart. As the patient, I should not be responsible for tracking down basic information about my own treatment plan because the office failed to document or process it correctly. The entire experience made me question the purpose of the appointment in the first place. If my provider cannot follow through on the care discussed during our call, and patients have to chase down their own orders and treatment information afterward, something is clearly not working. Based on my most recent experience, and an overall abysmal three years of "care", I would strongly discourage anyone from going to this practice. The lack of follow through, communication, and attention to patient care has been extremely disappointing and at times alarming.

Basic things like records requests, referrals, and prescriptions take an unreasonable amount of time and effort on the part of patients. It's incredibly rare to find a physician like her. She's not only highly knowledgeable, but she also takes the time to truly listen and make you feel supported. Whenever I've needed a referral, she's been thoughtful and intentional about sending me to the best possible specialist. I've been seeing her for about 5 years now and I genuinely look forward to each visit. The BEST part is that she's my primary care Dr. but also my women's health Dr. so I can get regular physicals and women's health exams all in the same place. Dr. Ohadi takes the time to listen and fully realize all your questions and concerns. Her office staff is fit to match her excellence. I've never waited longer than 5 mins to get into the exam rooms and I've never been rushed out of the office for another patient even during particularly busy days. Dr. Ohadi is a concierge practice, so I do pay a premium to receive her care. I was a patient before the practice became concierge as well. I truly believe she's worth the addition funds to receive her exceptional care. I can 100% see why she decided to go the concierge route - she's THAT great, people were flocking to her like crazy. Even if Dr Ohadi was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of patients at times, she NEVER showed it and ALWAYS put us (her patients) first, so much so that it was probably doing a number on her health/stress levels, not to mention her personal life as well, I'm sure. Since switching to a concierge practice, she has created the ability to spend more time with patients, therefore providing the absolute best care possible. I'm all for it! I can email her if I have a quick question or if I need my records sent to me. I can request appts pretty much any time that fits my schedule. And you actually get through to her office when you call, no long wait on hold or "we'll call you back later" or automated voice message systems (only after office hrs). I recommend her to most everyone I meet, so I decided to help spread the word here as well! Go to Dr. Ohadi, you will NOT regret it!

He proves that a doctor's visit doesn't need to be hours long to be thorough, thoughtful, detailed, effective, and--most importantly--to make you feel genuinely seen and heard. He is incredibly prompt and respectful of your time, while somehow never making the appointment feel rushed. He's kind, funny, caring, attentive, and has a way of immediately putting your mind at ease. I left feeling completely confident that my health is in very good hands. I'm newly postpartum, and he has been wonderful in helping me navigate the reins of this new chapter and come up with a plan for a truly healthy future so I can be my best self for my baby. He was incredibly thorough, provided me with excellent referrals, and made the entire process so seamless. I was able to have my labs done immediately after my appointment, received the results that same day, and he had already reviewed and addressed them with me. That kind of attentiveness and follow-through is so appreciated and, unfortunately, not something you find everywhere. He even went the extra mile discussing medication options and copays with me, actively trying to find the most affordable choices--definitely not something most PCPs go out of their way to do. Dr. Thomassian is the epitome of a doctor who genuinely loves what he does and truly cares about helping people. My husband and I both agree that we'll proudly and gladly keep him as our PCP until we're old and gray. Sorry, Dr. Thomassian--you're stuck with us for life! Couldn't recommend him more highly.
