The biggest mistake I made was paying Joe in advance for the second bathroom. I know that goes against standard business practices, but he asked for the money upfront to secure a rental property, and I wanted to help him out. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced. He no longer responds to my texts or phone calls and has essentially disappeared. For the past nine months, I've been unable to use the shower in my master bathroom. It still needs tile work completed and a shower door installed -- both of which I've already paid him for. This is absolutely unacceptable. While Joe did good work for my mother and sister in the past, he has proven to be unreliable and uncommunicative. I've finally given up hope that he'll ever come back and finish what he was paid to do. I cannot and would not recommend Joe or his business to anyone.

I told him I would address needed repairs went to garage to get a rubber mallet. Returned and he said he fixed it. I checked and showed him he crushed pins by forcing. I need to put some more time in it tomorrow after the carpet dries. Then I observed his cleaning in the family room. Once again it's my opinion but slamming the the wand into the baseboards lent to the impression that speed creates a cavalier attitude as to customer's belongings. I don't think I am being harsh as prior to arrival my wife and I had moved almost complete furnishings to make the process easier. Josh can call when he returns from Alabama if he wishes.

We opted to have it cleaned and sealed, to touch up spots. We received a quote and had to push back the bathroom work until a year later. Scheduling was easy and the contractor working our area was there throughout the day. We did contact them about a week later to request another look at the area due to areas we felt were missed. For a small fee we were able to have them come back out and continue touch ups. Each time the team was responsive. No issue with communication. Our job was approx. 3-4 months ago. We do see flaking and chipping in the grout. Based on this experience I would not opt to have other areas of our home worked on. We'll likely work with our local handyman whose work has been longer lasting.

They cleaned the areas (450 square feet were handled) for $180. There was an extra $30 charge for each particular area that needed extra smell cancellation. While Chris was here, he offered to give an air duct cleaning estimate. I was happy this was offered as I am very allergic to dust mites and we were told previously that our ducts couldn't be cleaned due to the structure of our vents. We have lived here 27 years, so the ducts were really dirty. Rodriguez uses air to clean, not brushes, so they were able to clean. It was $550 to have the ducts cleaned, but it was worth every penny. It took an extra hour to clean them due to the amount of dust. Chris cleaned up all around the vents and the floors. I wish I had the video Chris showed me of how dirty our vents were. It makes me really sad to be writing this review. During the huge April 2025 rainstorms (review…read morewritten in March 2026) this company was recommended to us by our insurance agent when we had some flooding in our basement and we needed mitigation. Our experience started out great but then turned into a nightmare. When we first called, I really appreciated the sense of urgency that they worked with. They came right away and were able to rip up the carpet and the drywall as needed to get the space dried up. This is the extent of my positive experience with them. We offered them the reconstruction project, asking if they could work with the remainder of the insurance money we had, with some flexibility as needed. Since I was so grateful for the work they did on the mitigation, I told them to not worry about the timeline, that we wouldn't rush them. This came back to bite me hard, since all the employees that were sent a) did a laughably mediocre job, b) were crying, demanding to be paid in full when the work was nowhere near done, c) were incapable of accurately communicating when they would be over to do work, causing me to miss meetings and medical appointment while I sat at home waiting for them to not show up. This entire saga dragged on for literally nine months, and all of this was while I was pregnant. I understand I gave flexibility with timing, and some with budget, but nine months of empty promises and blowing the budget with BS rework is unreasonable by any standard. The business owner, for months, repeatedly apologized and promise to make it right. I understand some of the circumstances were out of his control, but again, 9+ months of dragging out a simple drywall and flooring project for us who has given them all the grace in the world is disappointing and unacceptable. It ended with me texting him to just forget about everything, that we will learn our lesson, take our fat L, and just hire someone reliable. It was upsetting, frustrating, but fitting that this last message didn't get a reply or an acknowledgment. The ironic part is that we are in the market for a carpet cleaner, and we would love to go with someone local. Shoot me recommendations!
