I very much enjoyed working with Natali and MC Cleaning Services…read more I reached out to them via Request a Quote on Yelp after my basement flooded. Luckily, nothing was destroyed but we had three rugs that needed a good cleaning. I had reached out to a dry cleaner, and it would be roughly $100 per rug and take 4-6 weeks. Ick! MC Cleaning Services said they could come out and pick up our rugs and bring them back in a few days clean -- all for $100 total. Sounded like a great deal! And they brought them back as promised, but they reduced the overall price when two of the rugs didn't come out as clean as they had hoped. Those rugs were a little wet when they were brought back, and we were able to hang it outside to dry more. These rugs weren't new, so in general, we didn't mind this too much. They were better than when we sent them in. I would definitely work with them again!

First of all, if you've never looked for a "local mover", finding a good one is like walking…read morethrough a mine field. My daughter recently moved her furniture to a storage unit after selling her house and looking to buy a new one. Since she is single, and I'm retired, she enlisted my help getting moved. I was the primary contact for all moving issues. We used a different company (not Clean Slate) to move from her old house TO the storage unit. They were "decent" but I felt a little used and abused by their add on charges after the fact. I started looking for a different mover when it was time to move from the storage unit to the new home. All communications were via text. Clean Slate did meet another movers price and since they had so many 5 star reviews, I decided to go with them. There was one problem, they showed up an hour late. I considered giving them 4 stars due to showing up late, but that issue was offset by the quality of the two young men that did our move. Both guys were respectful and took good care of our possessions. They worked non stop for 4 hours. They even let this old man talk their ears off! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
