My son and I are very disappointed with our recent purchase of the Garage Kit 212215 (a Lego-style Samurai set by another manufacturer) for $60. After about three hours of building, we reached page 19--the start of the #3 pack of pieces--only to discover a defective piece. I carefully double- and triple-checked both the manual and the pieces, and confirmed it is indeed defective. Adding to the frustration, several of the gold and silver metallic pieces within the #3 packs also have defective finishes. There is no customer service number for the manufacturer or the Ebisu Life Store at American Dream Mall, which makes resolving this issue difficult. I live over an hour away, and between the travel and parking fees, it would be far more reasonable to speak with someone directly about a solution. This has been a disappointing experience, especially for a purchase at this price point. I hope the owner will respond promptly, replace the defective parts, and improve the overall customer service process to prevent situations like this in the future. I hope this review helps someone in the future.

One of the retail stores we dropped and passed by during the mall visit. The stuff/ plush toys they have are pretty cute with very reasonable prices. These Japanese products are so worthy as children's gifts. My friend bought 2 and each one was packed separately when we mentioned that it will be a gift. The store is small but has plenty of stocks from toys to candies down to other basic needs. The staff here is nice and friendly.

The price of the vending machines weren't clear at this place. After exchanging cash for coins, you can't get refund. Think twice before playing those machines.

This is a store inside the American Dream mall with imported goods from Japan . It reminded me of the store Daiso. This place also sells a mix of household goods and stationery and candy and snacks. However, it is bigger than Daiso and has a greater emphasis on games, dolls, and action figures. Overall, it is cool store to visit if you are a fan of Japanese culture.

cheetos!

Cool store! Feels like a little Japan in New Jersey ! They have a variety of products for skin, hair and body care! Let's not forget the cool figures and blindboxes! Really enjoyed the variety of snacks, ramen, candies and so much stuff! Employees were also very helpful when I asked about certain products!

It's all set up buffet style giving you the opportunity to create a plate according to your taste and appetite for the moment. Breakfast is limited but very Dominican in offerings and flavor. The buffet caters to any appetite vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians and of course carnivores. Service consists of buffet attendants who keep the area very clean, they are helpful and menu knowledgeable, most importantly they keep the delicious cuisines coming out to replenish the empty trays at buffet steam tables. Ambiance is like no other... You're seated in the produce section of a market having a delicious meal community style. Limited seating is offered indoors just grab a seat and "buen provecho" enjoy your meal. A couple of tables are placed outside the main entrance for outdoor dining but it's not recommended unless you're in a rush to just sit, eat and run. It's both affordable and tasty so definitely Yummy Tummy here. If you have a bad meal here then blame yourself because you created the dish. NOW SHUT UP AND EAT!

I will *specifically* note that if you have a pet, consider going elsewhere, they do not like pets inside. My review will not be impacted by this pet advisory though, as it's not an important factor for most people, but, just wanted to emphasize it for those who may have a pet and need to get groceries.

As a guy who does alot of cooking I like to use a wide variety of ingredients in all of My food. It…read morehelps to keep things different instead of the same old kinda meals, I tend to get bored real quick of average bland tasting foods. That's where Goya comes in and totally gives all My dishes a Flavorful Swift Kick in the Ass!!   I use so many Goya products that over half of My food pantry is nothing but. Everything else usually gets pushed to the back and forgotten about forever, or until I get time to sort it all out  [so yeah forever] lol!!   Anyway I'm not sure what I'll be making for dinner tonight, tomorrow, or next week but You damn sure better believe they'll be some Goya in there somewhere!! Come And Get My Munch On!!  ;D

I've used Goya products much of my life. Recently, I had surgery on my esophagus and I'm on a…read moreno-chew diet for a stretch. I thought tamales might be a neat option, so I picked up some Goya frozen grated yucca. The package has neither preparation information nor cooking info. My first batch wasted the $10 package (and left me without dinner). I spent much of the following day searching the web in ernest (I'd done a cursory search the night before) and found NOTHING. I did finally find a number, the story follows. I called, it picked up, I heard noise, but no voice, before I could say anything I was disconnected. I don't give up that easily, I called back. "Hello?" Me: Hello, I'm calling a number I found on the Goya site? "Yes, this is the receptionist." Not, hello, Goya, can I help you? Not Goya International? Just Hello? I explained why I was calling and she interrupted me [rude] and said, "I'll transfer you." The transferred call gets picked up by another woman. I begin to explain my situation, again she talks over me and I'm transferred again. About this time, I was wondering if I might perhaps want to dust off getting ticked off. Third lady picks up, she's the white lady. I can tell because she sounds very southern Kentucky. I explain my situation [in between her interruptions of "okay," "yes"; seriously, she sounded like the woman in the trailer park office in No Country For Old Men] My situation is, again, I bought their product and it has no cooking instructions, no preparation instructions. She says, "Can I have your name, please?" Me: Certainly. [give her my name which she both misspells and mispronounces. I mean, it's two syllables, but I let it go.] "Can I have a contact phone number?" Now, I'm smirking as I give my number adding, "so long as you promise not to call me at an inappropriate time." "What is the product name?" Me: Frozen grated yucca. "What?" Me: Frozen grated yucca, or cassava. "Okay. Is that uka U - K - A?" You're GOYA Foods. Me: No, Y - U - C - C- A. "Okay. Do you have the UPC code?" Me: Give me a minute, I'll get it. I grab the thawed product from the fridge, the package is actually slimy. I read her the code, she reads it back to me. "Can you give me the Lot number and Best Used By date?" Me: Hang on, I need to get a light. Okay, I see information in ink that doesn't say lot number, but here's the number, and the expiration is [give date, don't feel like looking it up for the story] "And the store where it was purchased?" Remember, I'm asking how to cook it or prep it because there are no instructions on the package. The slimy package. Me: Hannaford Brothers. [This has to be repeated three times, at which point I'm VERY close to saying, "You DID hear me when I said I just had esophageal surgery, no? Do you ask Stephen Hawking to repeat himself just for kicks, too?" but I don't. "And the city and state where the store is located?" I provide it, twice, spelling out E-X-E-T-E-R the second time. "And your mailing address?" That was my breaking point. Me: Can I ask why? I've given you literally everything except my bank account number and all I'm asking is how to cook the product because there is no information on the package. [by this point she's been cross-talking over me, the hoarse guy who just had surgery, since the word "cook"] Me: You know what, let me make this easy. I will NEVER use your products again and I will go OUT OF MY WAY to tell EVERYONE not to. Thank you, Goya. You're a disgrace. Customer service is woeful, not to mention not including preparation instructions on the package. I'll find another vendor. I recommend you do, too.
