I had ordered 50 grams of each type of flower and I had received less than 10 grams of each flower And when I had CALLED the store and asked regarding my order, the guy started speaking sternly and lying saying they had no extra flowers to give and that the floods had ruined all their shipments from India. He never even apologized for their mistake. They didn't even let me know earlier on that their goods would be damaged. so now I spent my money on flowers for which I am not one bit happy about. My friend went to the store that same night and told me that the store still had a large stock of the same flowers I'd ordered... If you are going to have a business here in the US, especially selling an item ( Indian flowers) that is a huge commodity within the community, you should learn to respect the customers and try to hold up your reputation so that people come back to your store. Cheating and being disrespectful to your customers is not how you lead a successful business. To the public: this isn't the first time this store has received low reviews, they have a history of being disrespectful to customers. I do not recommend this Indian store for ANYONE. for those living in Eden Prairie, there are other Indian stores from which the same grocery items are available.

I found International Spices & Groceries using a Google search, and after visiting the market yesterday, I was so surprised that no one had reviewed the place on Yelp as of yet. Well, there's a first time for everything... The first thing I noticed about the store is how sparkling clean the floors were. Along with the bright lighting and well-organized shelves stacked with the whole gamut of traditional spices, jams, pita bread, cookies, and teas (to name only a few of the items they had), this place exceeded my expectations. Many international grocers have no desire to spruce up their stores because they know the focused customer base will continue to shop there, especially if there is no nearby competition. However, this place does an excellent job of appealing to the general public, with its ample selection of meats, cheeses, frozen and dried goods. If you plan on visiting the store on Fridays, remember that its closed around noon. I forgot what time exactly, but it is listed on the front door. I parked on the street at a metered spot right in front of the store and did not notice a nearby lot for shoppers.

I dropped by to check it out just before heading to a Minnesota Wild game on a Wednesday evening. I had no problem finding this mall and backing into a spot on my final full day in the Twin Cities. The entrance is straight ahead when you first walk into the store. You hang a left and you're in. I welcome this supermarket. There weren't many Asian supermarkets when I lived in Minnesota. It's about time! I didn't walk the whole store. I was impressed by the selection of beverages. I wish that I had visited this supermarket at the start of my vacation. I would have bought and consumed as many cool drinks that this store had to offer. My throat was a bit scratchy. I got a couple of cans of chrysanthemum tea. The brand that I got was decent. I liked looking at all varieties of instant noodles. I was in heaven! The produce section was also cool. Everything looked fresh and healthy. I got to see sugar cane that pandas would be envious of. Lychee. Kumquat. Lots of fruit that made me so happy. I hit the checkout. There were a bunch of open lanes. I got a nice man who helped me check out. I paid with a credit card. I paid, thanked him, and left to check out the mall. The tea was so good. It helped soothe my throat. It was nice drinking a can as I headed to Xcel Energy Center for the Wild game. I look forward to returning and spending more time checking out this supermarket. It's a winner. It's long overdue to have such a great Asian supermarket in the Twin Cities. (13)

I don't have to drive out of my way to United noodle. There's quite a lot of options for restaurants as well, so you make a trip of an outing to this mall. One time I bought salmon from here which was good and another time not so good so I guess it's hit or miss with the seafood.

My gain in some respect, but certainly different than what I call home. When the golden star restaurant closed, I thought I had lost my closest Vietnamese, food, connection, and that was another loss on a pile of them to that point. Seemingly small, but incalculable in the joy I was missing. As I left Rock Town, a thought had occurred to me that I should go and buy some seaweed or a new delicious flavor of Ramen at the market. Something else was beckoning me, beyond that. The words caught my eye immediately "Deli." I paused, gathered myself and hurriedly paced through the door, sporting a toothy grin. There it was, the light at the end of a very long tunnel. I was greeted promptly, by someone who was captive audience to my excitement of discovering a new Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered two super decked out noodle salads, off the menu, and received a glorious, delicious, knee slapping, Grandma, smacking, straight bussin Bun Dac Biet, of sorts. It was wonderful, and my partner appreciated it as well, though I'm not sure he tasted it, given the rate of consumption. Styrofoam containers don't spin as well as bowls when hastily emptied, but reading through the lines told me that we were both very satisfied. The next go round, I will be sure to get the Phô, which will be the 83rd Phô I've had to that point. All the cool kids eat here, and you know you wanna be cool, so stop in and don't be a fool.

We specifically like getting hot queso, guaca, and Tinga from the deli. They can also make you taco and other items for lunch/dinner right at the deli. It's all delicious! My only two complaints are: the deli ordering area itself is awkward to order from. The second there's more than 2 people, it feels crowded and uncomfortable. It's also right next to their house chips and salsa, which are popular items. Maybe they should move them to a place that's not so crowded and busy. Overall the deli ordering area is a massive layout issue. The self-checkouts are also almost never on. It's really annoying. They are right there, but almost never usable. If they aren't going to let me use them, they should just remove them. If would actually be the perfect area to give more space when ordering at the deli. Would solve the layout issue. Overall: go here and get their house chips, tres leches cake towards the back, and some deli items/meals. But be prepared for an awkward layout at the deli, if it's even a little busy.
