I accepted because they could be there quickly. On the day of service it was NOT the same person. They took down the trees (without any special equipment) that were overhead of the driveway but left leaning trees. When I inspected the work I pointed out other trees in the same bunch leaning toward the driveway. They wanted another $50 (cash) to take down the 4 trees I could see. After they were done there were still some trees leaning toward the driveway. I was out of cash and gave up. If you use these guys be sure you are clear on what they are going to do. They will want the specific number of trees you want removed.

He arrived with his crew and they started clearing while Calmo went to pick up the plants I had purchased along with the amendments. He returned and we laid out the plants. I noticed he had not brought the rototiller or the soil amendment and asked. He skipped my question. He asked if I had planned on landscape fabric or bark chips. He said he had bark chips. I had not intended on it, but had 8 bags in the garage. He said we needed 20 more. I was getting frustrated that our visions were not meshing. We bought more mulch. Skipping to the end, my yard looks nicer, but I did not get what I wanted. He tried to push me towards getting sod and also having him put in a sprinkler system. I appreciate the work he did but feel like the communication was not great.

For my yard they used a large, stand behind mower. The operator worked extremely fast and appeared to be more concerned about speed than doing a good job. After a period of heavy rain, we called the company to cancel the next day's service for fear of damage to our lawn. We had to leave a message on their machine because no one answered. The crew showed up the next day and before we could stop them, they finished what they were supposed to do and left. They damaged our entire lawn because of heavy tire tracks. Now I have to spend next Spring and Summer getting it back to where it was last year. When we called to let the company know about our complaint, they were not interested and said it was probably just layed over grass from the mower. They did not offer to come out and assess the damage or make any compensation at all. They also applied a moss remover without our request. Here are my questions: Why do the mowers have to operate at extreme speed? Why wasn't our cancellation message passed on to the workers? Why don't the workers have the ability to see when a lawn could be damaged? Why doesn't the company care enough to want to do a good job without damage? Use this company at your own risk!
