The store sells soap, lotion, cheese as well as frozen pizza, pot pies, fruit pies and flavored butter, all of which, I believe, are made on site. Their website says there's a satisfaction guarantee, it's been weeks of contacting them which is turning into a nightmare. I've caught Lisa flat out lying to me multiple times. Then she ended up calling the police on me insteading of just honoring their refund policy. Them selling bad meat is bad enough, but the way they treat their customers is just down right gross. Them making fun of me and belittling me for my mental issues really hurt my feelings. Lisa even lied about USPS's policies on shipping meat which makes me scared about the safety of the meat I did eat if they are unaware of safe shipping policies. Then switched to Tom being the contact person, he insisted on me mailing the remaining meat back to them so they could "test it". So I did, they received it over a week ago, and still no refund. They have the meat that I paid to ship back to them, and they have my money. God sees everything they've done and how they treat their fellow humans and their greed/lies. In the long run justice will be served on them one way or another I really just feel bad them and feel bad for everyone else they lied to and sold bad meat to.

Because I was Introduced to TriTips in central CA, I expected the marinade to be more like a Santa Rosa Rub, which is how I cook them. It was not, but it was very good and tender. I grilled it on a gas grill at 350 over indirect heat til internal temp of 100, then flipped it over to direct heat (flipping once) til a bit over 130 (10-15 min). Removed from heat and tented under foil for 10-25 min while I steamed asparagus. It was perfect! Very good and lots of juice! There were med well pieces for my husband, and rare for me. Thank you! This store is not just a fish processing, smokehouse and serves takeout dinners which I did not try yet. There are plenty of workers and service was quick. There is no place to sit and eat. It is all takeout. We were here on a Friday morning of Labor Day weekend. A very busy time in Michigan's vacation land. There is plenty of parking in a lot adjacent to the store and on the street but watch out for the crazy bike drivers who think they own the road one of the old guys nearly ran me over because he thought he owned the road or maybe he didn't know how to drive a bicycle. Just the word of caution. Will I return? Yes, because it's the only fish, fresh fish, store within 50 or 60 miles of Frankfort. I compare fish processing outlets, to a business just outside Mackinaw city named Big Stone Bay Fishery. We were not in looking for a place to eat just for some fresh fish, and some smoked fish. I think that Big Stone Bay Fishery accommodates the customer better. for instance, they freely provide the customer with ice for the trip back home to the Detroit area.
