WOW!! Fantastic sausage, cheese and more; 6-stars!…read more - - - - - - - - August, 2026 Visit We went on a road trip, from Missouri to Michigan, for a family event - the reunion was at a city park; family provided burgers and hot dogs, all of which were good; our daughter asked for brauts, and I found Jack's and am so glad I did. I went just to find brauts and found more than I could enjoy... they have several flavors... I need to focus and not over-buy, to make sure we didn't waste any food. I purchased regular (2), Cheddar and Bacon (4), Chicken spinach and cheese (4), and pineapple teriyaki (2). We did share slices with everyone at the event and everyone let out audible "YUM!"s and more... all were fantastic; the chicken, spinach and cheese were the strongest favorite. As I thin made my way to the registers, I also picked up local cheese curds (which were eaten quickly at the park), pickles, a watermelon, and some Michigan beers. I would award a sixth star if I could! I am thankful I found Jack's on this trip and look forward to returning the next time we're in town. Thanks, Jack's!!

Two of us visited and found so many options. The crew was a big help in getting us to make our decisions; we departed with two Michigan whiskeys and a Michigan / Petoskey gin and two tonics. The family and friends were happy for our purchases. Thank you, Eastman Party Store!!

We set up our chairs on the street next to Molasses, near the stage. And... we became hungry and benefitted from Molasses. We were able to order and enjoy the wonderfully tasty burnt ends before they were sold out; we also enjoyed some tasty street corn and some adult and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff is fantastically helpful and friendly. We look to return on our next visit. Thanks, Molasses!

They all seem to have the country Honky Tonk bar appearance, and I suppose that's what people expect. The staff was reasonably attentive, although they weren't terribly busy the night I've visited so I suppose they didn't have a lot to do, lol. I ordered the ribs with a side of coleslaw. Overall the ribs were fine, but they weren't quite as tender as I'm used to. As I recall the coleslaw was adequate but nothing special. Pricing was a little on the high side, but I get it that it cost money to run a place like this. Overall I don't think I would be inclined to come back.

I also had the ribs and they were tender and juicy but not much flavor without adding sauce. 3/5 Sides: due to not having a ton of flavor, the slaw and Yams were the best, the Greens weren't anything special, needed more seasoning and the mac was bland. Not super impressed with the cornbread either, very cakey. 5/5 Sauces: personally, loved them all. 10/10 service: Veronica was our server and she was fantastic. Restaurant was out of wings, but she was extremely communicative and friendly, offered other suggestions, so kind and knowledgeable about sauces and the whole menu. She was great! The location itself needs a bit of love, no sign outside - just a white board. It looks like they're still remodeling - but it was clean (bonus!), good music was playing, and the decor on the walls was a nice touch. Service really saved this review from being 3/5 and took this up to a 5 star review.
