EBE Dreamtime was absolutely incredible! We hired them for our wedding in Philadelphia in September 2016 and couldn't be happier. Tiffany, the bandleader, was great to work with and made sure the whole night ran smoothly. The entire band had all of our guests on the dance floor from before we even entered the room until the final song ended. We had an absolutely magnificent experience with EBE; Ben Ostroff worked with us on our wedding reception from beginning to end. They aren't just disc jockeys, they are masters of ceremony. My wife and I live on separate continents (husband in US, wife in France), and so Ben had to deal with Skype conferences, lists of old French songs, last minute changes, etc; he was a true professional and took care of us like a champ. I would not recommend this compnay. They made a great pitch but their services did not deliver. Our Emcee got our names wrong twice, did not follow the outlne we developed, he was unprepared, he did not properly announce dinner and guests were confused about what was going on, and looked like he was nervous. We had guests coming up to us complaining of dead zones and saying they felt bad for us. read more

Ben was the dj for our wedding two weeks ago, and he was awesome! He was extremely professional and organized, yet fun at the same time. He stuck to the timeline we had laid out together, and was able to include most if not all of our song requests. He really seemed to know how to read the crowd and keep everyone up on the dance floor. The night had a fun, party-like atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted! Everyone had a great time and we have had many compliments from our guests in regards to the music and the overall feel of the evening. Leading up to the wedding, the whole EBE organization was wonderful as well. Everyone I dealt with was accomodating, easy to get in touch with, polite, extremely efficient and professional. Dreamtime, the band, ROCKS! If you are considering this band, do not hesitate! When we chose Dreamtime for our daughter's wedding band, we were confident that they'd be great. Their online presence is top notch and our future-son-in-law went to see them in person and they blew him away! But nothing prepared us for the show that they put on realtime! I can't even begin to describe the caliber of the talent of each and every one of them. We could all overhear the music in the ballroom from the cocktail hour and guests raced to the dance floor the moment they entered the ballroom. Except for toasts and speeches, there wasn't at time when the dance floor was empty, largely because of the energy and sheer talent of this group. The band had communicated with the bride and groom about their ceremony music and also music for the reception. To give you and idea of how invested in making each and every gig a personal experience: My daughter told me that she was trapped talking to someone when one of her requested songs was being played. She finally managed to get onto the dance floor 3/4 of the way through the song, and without missing a beat, the bandleader directed the group into beginning again for them. They even took dinner breaks in shifts so that the music never stopped! Two weeks later we are still getting calls from our friends and family about how phenomenal they were. The variety of musicians, genres, singers, - even dancers, kept us going all night long. My favorite moment: during one song a group of horns players led a crowd in a circle around the bride and groom, and then they proceeded their horns around them while they danced in the center. Later they dropped by our after-party and everyone was thrilled to have the opportunity to chat with them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this band. Amanda and Ryan were our DJs and they were out of this world! They were both really cool to deal with - Amanda really helped make sure everyone was organized and where they needed to be. She communicated with my husband and I every time it was time for each thing (eg: father-daughter dance, entrances, hora, etc). Ryan played the perfect mix of music that pleased all of our guests of all ages. We had a non-stop dance party. EBE also did our uplighting and it looked great. read more

Our MC was Mike Noble for our wedding in May. He was AWESOME! The whole EBE experience was so professional and seamless. Mike checked in a few times before the big day to put me at ease as the bride. On the wedding day, we were running behind with pictures and rushing to get to the reception. When we got there, Mike was very calm, told us to have a snack and relax and whenever we are ready, he would announce us. His direction really set the tone for the whole night. He checked in a few times throughout the night with my husband and I just to make sure everything was how we wanted it to be. He played the perfect mix of songs and by 10pm when our wedding ended, we still had about 70 people on the dance floor wanting to hear more! No one wanted the night to end because he made it so much fun! read more

Amazing!!!!!!!!!! We hired Rio for our wedding band and they simply made the wedding. We could have just had Rio in our backyard and it would have still been the best wedding ever! Everyone was so pleased with this band. Jonathan, the band leader, runs the show and knows his stuff. He feels out the crowd during the wedding to make sure everyone is having a great time. If you enjoy dancing and want your wedding to be a party for all ages, book Rio! I heard Paris and Barcelona are also great. Honestly, you can't really go wrong with EBE. It is worth the money. My advice if you are on a budget- cut something else out, spend the extra money and book a band! read more

EBE promised us the sun, moon and stars for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. They charged us for it too. The DJ and MC had no chemistry and the MC had no energy whatsoever. When we gave him suggestions on how to get the party going, he got defensive and argued with us and refused to try to fix things. He was yawning during the party. My daughter was in tears. it was aggravating. We wished we had not hired this company.The DJ was DJ Burd and the MC was Everett. To be fair, the fun facilitators (dancers) were very good. read more

Without a doubt, the best entertainment company on the East Coast. We've hosted two large events, both with 180+ people, and have used LA Starz and Dreamtime as our bands. You will NOT find better bands around. They are professional, talented, friendly, talented, will work within your budget, talented, etc. We've used their DJ's on numerous occasions as well and they have never disappointed. The only negative? We paid for almost 150 meals that no one ate as our guests danced ALL NIGHT LONG! Your guests will never remember what they ate at your event, but they will always remember the music. Invest in EBE and you won't be disappointed! read more

I'm currently planning my wedding and had a bad experience with Jonathan. I started putting feelers out for a band a little over a year and half before my wedding date. Jonathan emailed me about going to a showcase, but unfortunately the dates did not work for my fiance. I put planning on the back burner for a bit and told Jonathan that, but consistently received emails and calls from him asking if I was still looking for a band. When I started my search again, about 14 months away from my date at this point, Jonathan emailed me dates of showcases which didn't work for my fiance and I, and then repeatedly pressured me by telling me that bands were already being booked for dates well in advance of mine. He literally emailed me multiple times a week. Finally a showcase date worked us, I confirmed the date with Jonathan about 2 weeks before. The week of, he emailed me to see if we were still coming and asked for my fiances information. I emailed him back, confirmed again that we were coming, sent fiances info. Two days later he called me while I was at work and emailed me (again) to in his words, "double confirm". I ended up not choosing EBE, in large part to my interactions with Jonathan. It was SUCH a turn off to feel like I was being hounded about it. read more
