WORST EXPERIENCE- AVOID at all cost! This couple may seem nice upon meeting, however they are are…read moreuntrustworthy and rude... they charged us in-full and never provided us any services. Our wedding date was scheduled one week before the pandemic occurred, when the city shut down... it was scheduled for March 21, 2020. We were crushed that we had to postpone, but knew it was no one's fault. Because we could not foresee the city shutdown, we paid Deibert the full amount a few days prior, in addition to our deposit. Every other vendor we worked with gave us our payment back (minus the deposit)... because it was the decent thing to do. Every vendor except for Deibert. They kept all of our payment, were unavailable to schedule us in 2022 since they were too busy, and wanted to charge us more money for our wedding shoot. In the end, we gave them thousands of dollars, received no photography services, and they had the audacity to feel entitled to keep all of our payments for no services rendered. And in the meantime, they opened a larger studio during the pandemic... wonder how many others they took advantage of during a hard time. I thought they were decent people during our first encounter, however they proved to us that they were capable of one of the most unethical and lowest business practices I have had the displeasure of witnessing. If you are hoping to work with honest folks, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We absolutely loved working with them from start to finish and cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, they took the time to get to know us on a personal level and made to align on what we wanted for our photos, setting up an in-person meeting and multiple check-ins prior to the day. One the day, they were the perfect mix of take charge and creative. For example, when my big extended family all needed to have pictures taken, they got through the list efficiently, managed all of the requests, and kept us on schedule. They also came up with fun, creative, and unique ideas for picture that turned out amazingly - our venue even has one of their photos hanging up. They captured the candids and special moments, but made sure we had the right amount of posed photos on top of that too. They knew exactly what to do! They are also just really enjoyable and easy to be around and work very well as a team, which made it seem like they managed to be everywhere taking pictures at once.

He was recommended to us by a friend who used his service for her wedding and she could not start talking about how much fun he was. Chris chatted with us on the phone prior to the official booking to let us know his style and to find out what we were looking for. My husband and I could tell he was the one from our initial conversation, as we felt like we knew him already. Chris then met up with us a few weeks before the wedding to put our minds at ease by going over all the basic. He has a great site he gives you a login/password to once you book with him. The site allows you to create a playlist, a do not playlist, and select things such as your first dance, parents dances, bouquet toss, etc. Super easy to use and gives you ideas for songs as well. We did not have a band for our ceremony, so Chris provided all the music for our bridal party and my entrance. He also mic'd up our officiant and my husband which was really helpful as the venue did not provide this for us. Light music was also provided for our cocktail hour, then the real fun started! Chris did something very unique as far as introducing our bridal party which we are still receiving compliments about. Prior to the wedding, Chris had us fill out brief questionnaires about our bridal party and then had my husband and I separately fill our brief questionnaires about each other.Some example questions would be: tell me an embarrassing story about so and so or voted most likely to. It created a very fun set of unique introductions, making everyone laugh and our bridal party to have their own special moment. For our introduction, our quests got to hear our love story and some funny moments created throughout our relationship. After the intros and speeches (which Chris also provided the mics for), our dance floor was jumping for the next three hours. Everyone danced nonstop as the music was absolutely perfect and kept the dance floor packed with at least 100 guests at all times. I could not recommend Chris Marx enough and our wedding would not have been the same without him! Book him, you will have an absolutely perfect wedding! PS: he also took a video of our ceremony, the speeches, and our intros and sent them to me after the wedding. This was extremely thoughtful and unexpected, we were almost sorry we booked a videographer! Haha Thanks again Chris, we will find a reason to work with you again in the near future!

This was indeed a pleasure as I had been a reader of the magazine for years, and saw all the wonderful covers that she provided. Fast forward to present day, and I am the creator and one of the executive producers of an upcoming new television series that will bring on a weekly basis the greatest minds in our world together to discuss a specific topic each episode. But it is more than that; it will have an accompanying magazine, local events from coast to coast and an annual summit. I had a small celebration about ten people but still loved it. I love how they put me in a separate room so my wife couldn't see me until I came down the aisle. The music I was going to walk down the aisle to played loudly through out the room. Also the music we chose to walk away from the alter as well. I was so busy and when I had my candles to light as a Union I had no candle holders but she had them for me which I so appreciated. The parking is a problem because you may have to park a little far and some people have trouble finding this location but thats the only issues I've experienced. A huge plus is the owner has three different photographers you can book at a discount for having a wedding here which we also did. I'm happy that I got married at a nice place with out breaking the bank.

On a recent trip back to PA, we were able to snag a shoot with her to capture the two of us plus our one year old! I was so impressed by her ability to make him smile even though the weather was insanely hot that day and he had slept poorly the night before. In minutes she had him giggling away. SO AMAZING! I've done a lot of research on photographers over the years and the pricing and quality can be all over the place. Having photos from someone as talented as Katie is totally worth it. I'm blown away!
