Caprese salad. Basil doesn't get much fresher than that, it came from a potted plant right next to the table

We really enjoyed our lunch here - well-deseved break after strolling through the Villa Borghese gardens all morning! We got the Caprese salad with tasty mozzarella and the meat ravioli. Fresh ingredients and great service.

This place is off the beaten path, and well worth the visit. The service you will receive is amazing, by far the best we received in our week in Rome. You will get home cooked Italian food and feel part of the culture. The food was great and very pocket book friendly which is a plus and just the cherry on top for the great food and great service you will receive. Can't give enough praise to this restaurant a must try in Rome! I know this is the first yelp review but trust me it's a solid review!! Happy traveling !

How small and normal a place can look from the outside. But once inside you feel immediately a warm and welcoming vibe from the owners. Wherever you're from you'll be treated equally as friendly. The cheese plate we ordered was just great. Lots of different beautiful cheeses going along with exquisite bruchetta's. The pasta was homemade and really tasty. It's just a great family run restaurant giving real italian food to its customers. We'll certainly go back on our next trip.

Excellent food! We started with the bruscetta sampler. I ordered the handmade tortellini in white creamy sauce, Italian sausage and parmesan cheese. My wife had the orcchette brocolli with Italian sausage. Glad we found this little family run business!

My first meal on Rome! It was a bit confusing because ebar is a restaurant found in many Nordstrom's in the states but I don't really think it's the same, even though the logo was the same. Anyway, I digress. Family owned, this shop has excellent service and seating inside and outside. There's a variety of things to order and I got the broccoli orechetti! I had never seen something like that before so I thought why not? It was really delicious and a fun experience for sure. I also got a white wine to pair. Perfect for my first meal. The portions were generous and I remember wishing I could take my last few bites to go. They also give you a little cup of limonchello at the end... Which I still don't know if you're supposed to sip or shoot it. The guy next to me shot it so I did too haha! This place is small so I wouldn't recommend big groups but a large party came as I was finishing and they took the time to accommodate them to the best of their ability. Really great and kind people!

Super nice staff, good food but the view is a side street overlooking trash, angry seagulls and pigeons. They don't take credit cards.

We ate up all of our food and then I was given complimentary limoncello at the end.

Chris, the manager, speaks excellent English and he turned me onto a Belgian sour beer that had been aged over 10 years and was mindblowingly good! I also had a burger on my second visit and it was very tasty. Make sure to order your food and drinks at the bar because there's no table service.

Missed it by one day…read more.. Continuing on my quest to eat non-Italian food in Italy (I'd been on a pasta bender and needed to get off for a little while), I found Brasserie 4:20. Beyond being impressed that the craft beer/burger scene in Rome resembled what it was in the States, I was shocked to find Roman bros. America, we have to do better at our exports. Alas, it's true. There are Roman bros and they congregate and work here. So, guys just be aware that if you come here, you service will come after any cute thing in a skirt that wants food/drink/whatever. The music is bro-y. The vibe is bro-y. It's a bro bar. That said, they have some good things to offer. Beyond connecting with bros from another continent, you come here for beer & burgers (and rock music and brownies but mostly beer & burgers). Despite not being much of a burger guy, I figured that 'when in Rome...'* Thing is, this burger didn't taste much like a lot of the ones I'd had back home. I ordered the angus burger with cheese, onions and pickle. The first thing I noticed was that the meat tasted much better than most of the burgers I'd had in the States. I don't know whether this was because of the angus beef or because we're not getting the real deal in the States. I'd had angus beef before. It didn't taste this good. Had I eaten beef like this regularly, I don't know that I could have given it up as easily. All this is to say that the beef wasn't as seasoned as it could have been. Salt & pepper before it's grilled, boys. That's all you need. Good quality beef. Needed more seasoning. To accompany my burger, I tried two beers: the Royal Brown and the Terzo Tempo. I don't know if styles change from country to country but I found the brown to taste more like a stout and my cream ale was REALLY light. This isn't to say that I didn't enjoy drinking them (well, the cream ale was a bit of a disappointment) but they provided a different taste profile than I was anticipating. I experienced all of this while sitting at the bar (the perfect vantage point, in my opinion). If in Rome and in need of a pasta/pizza break, head to 4:20. The bro vibe is real but such could/should be expected when eating angus beef burgers and drinking craft beer. *I told you it would be used more than once. I told you.
