Arrived the next day, and spoke to an employee to pick up my order, but he was rude and told me that I couldn't pick it up because it wasn't ready yet and that he had 65 orders ahead of me, even though those other orders weren't there and we had spent an hour round trip to drive out and come pick this up. Received the email saying it was ready for pickup half an hour later.... At least the other employee who I picked it up from two weeks later was much nicer. Highly recommend shopping at 401 Games or Boardgame Bliss instead.

So my Playstation 3 has been running extremely hot and loud for several months now. Big mistake. I showed up around noon on a weekday and the place was empty. There was one guy behind the counter looking at something on his phone, and it took him a solid two minutes to look up and address me. I probably should've left at that point. I explained the situation to him, and made a point to stress that the machine is running very hot and very loudly, and he said it wouldn't be a problem and that they could do it for $50. I asked if they guarantee their work, and he said that it's not going to be a problem. In retrospect, I should've pushed for an actual answer to that question. Cut to a couple of days later and I get a call that the machine is ready for pickup. I walked right over to Gamerama and told a different person I was picking up my Playstation 3. He found my machine and explained that he replaced a certain component and cleaned out the dust. I asked what was wrong with it, and his response to that was confusion. He didn't realize there was anything wrong with it, and when I told him the issue, he said that problem might be fixed but that he would knock $5 off the price. Like, why did the guy I left the machine with not explain that there was a problem with it? What kind of absurd incompetence is this? Anyway, I took the Playstation 3 home and - surprise, surprise - the heat-and-noise issue was still there. What a joke Gamerama is. They scammed me and for what? $45? I think some of their games are a little too pricey. personally NES games shouldn't be over $10. It is cool that they let you test retro games out on their TV setup and it's always nice to play a round of Super Mario Kart (it's too bad someone bought it). There's also a lot of comics, Vinyl Pop Dolls and action figures, some very rare. If you're a collector or a nerd/geek, please visit this place. Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.
