Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. What did we do before the age of TV's? Our favorite TV wouldn't turn on after dinner, and we…read morerealized it was time for a new one. We visited another Best Buy location, but the TV we were interested in wasn't available, so we drove to this location. It took a while for a "blue shirt" employee to assist us, but he did call for someone to help us. It was our lucky day because we met Noel, a senior advisor. WOW! The TV that we were looking for was available, but it wasn't quite in our price range. I still couldn't justify the price tag. Noel asked us what we usually view on our TV - regular shows, movies, gaming, action movies, etc. He gave us a rundown on all the TVs and options. It turns out the TV we were interested in wasn't suited for our purposes. Noel was incredibly patient, and answered all our questions. He never made us feel like any question was too small. He showed us a TV that had everything we were looking for, and it was several hundred dollars less than the one we had our eyes on. Noel was called away, but another associate helped with payment, which was super-fast. While my husband went to get our car, the associate wheeled the TV to the front entrance. I totally forgot to get his name, but I appreciated that he waited until my husband drove up, and then placed the TV carefully inside our trunk! Now, this is how service should be! The TV was relatively easy to set up, just a lot of questions. The good thing is that Netflix is right on the screen, and there is a button exclusively for it on the remote control. The TV is a bit larger than our old one, so it will take some getting used to. I was very impressed with the service overall. It goes to show that not all larger locations have the best service. I will definitely purchase from the Markville Mall location in the future!
