Regular migraines started with me with peri-menopause and after I experienced one vestibular migraine I was on the hunt to figure out how to stave those off. Enter Onsight Chiropractic! I was pleased to find that Onsight also accepted my insurance. Dr. Jas has been a huge asset in realignment, targeted muscle work, and even a round of cupping which I found hugely beneficial. She is kind, hugely knowledgeable, listens deeply to all your issues, and is fully invested in your care and recovery. In addition to working to stave off migraines, the overall benefit is helping counteract the hours of sitting at a computer all day, working. I have not experienced another vestibular migraine since starting care with Dr. Jas. There are lots of factors at play with migraine, and I've also adjusted my nutrition and exercise routine to help mitigate them. Also, sleep! Sleep is key. Chiropractic care is now part of my routine to stave off migraines. I appreciate that all the practitioners here come from a sports background and all the methods feel grounded in sports medicine and therapy. I look forward to every appointment with Dr. Jas as I always feel phenomenal after a session with her. If you feel you need chiropractic care, I highly recommend you check this place out!

She explained what she was assessing, asked relevant questions to understand potential causes, and provided only relevant adjustments and treatments. She explained what may be the root cause of my issues and gave relevant stretches and exercises for me to do for long term benefits. Prior to the 2 sessions, my shoulders, hips, and low back were so tight and it was causing me to get numbness, the inability to stretch out when I slept, and I felt so heavy due to the stiffness in my body. My issues were likely due to previous exercise and running injuries that I left untreated. I was shocked at how much better I felt after 2 sessions with her. It was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Following the relief from her sessions, I've continued with additional mobility exercises at home to maintain the benefits. I highly recommend visiting her if you're experiencing any pain, discomfort, or abnormal mobility issues.

Tried all day to hold off but the pain got too much to handle. Found this joint location was open. Called to confirm they were open and they were so I rescheduled my flight for a redeye and drove 20m to go and get adjusted to be able to simply walk through the airport because I could barely walk 20ft. Arrived with 18m left before closing. Was told that I had to do new paperwork and do a full exam before he could help me and he said he couldn't and wouldn't do it. I mentioned that I'd rescheduled my flight to make it to him. He did not care. So I'm standing there in pain having changed my flight to make it to him and he looked me in my eyes and refused to help. I've been all over the country and have heard of this policy. That's why I use The Joint. In fact I'm writing this from Nashville where I went to a joint and I was in and out in under 10m without ANY paperwork or exam because the system shares all my info with all the other locations. He somehow looked me in my face and told me there's nothing he would do. I literally said, "so you're going to let me walk out of here with a 9/10 pain level because of paperwork and a full exam I've never had to do?" And he just looked at me and shrugged. I even offered to pay more just to have him stay 10m longer (even though we still had 15m at this point before closing)..... Again a shrug with zero remorse. Out of sheer principals I can't understand leaving someone in need, who is clearly in pain, to just endure it when you can help them and there's ample time to do so. Not to mentioned that there is no universal policy of paperwork and exams at every Joint location. He might be good at what he does but 1) I'll never know because I'll never go back and 2) That single interaction tells me he genuinely just doesn't care about people being helped who are in pain. Him sending me away was not because of company policy but instead personal preference. I wouldn't trust this location with myself or any of my family.

The thing I like best about this style of chiropractic treatment, ART, is that there is an emphasis on healing in just a visit or two if possible and teaching you how to manage the injury or weakness through taping and/or exercises. This visit was for knee pain, some related to IT band tightness. Jess did some deep tissue work on the IT band with a pain-relieving lotion then did cupping with a little Chinese cupping therapy kit. With the cups in place she moved my leg in a way it wasn't able to move before she began the treatment because it was too painful. She explained that how she was using them was different than Chinese medicine because she wasn't using meridians. The cupping looked really freaky. Big disks of my skin were sucked up into the cups and the skin turned reddish purple. It can leave round bruises but I didn't get any. She slid the cups around a little with the aid of the lotion on my skin. She told me that I could purchase an inexpensive kit online and treat myself with the cups. I found a small one for about $15 and it has helped a lot. She also put two lengths of spider tech kinesiology tape around my knee to stabilize it. I've tried to replicate this at home though it is hard to get in the same exact spot but I think it has helped some anyway. She also suggested biking to strengthen my quadriceps. In any case, one visit with helpful suggestions and my knee is on the way to better when healing had been stuck. Highly recommended.
