A modern quick stop trattoria if you will, Eatme & Go was a welcome stop for a couple of New Yorkaaaaas. Located a few minutes from the duomo, the location is perfect for a quick bite or to grab a few things to hang in the square. To our surprise, they served iced coffee (called NY coffee ;) ) so we grabbed a few of those along with a chicken salad sandwich and a cannoli. I know what you're saying, "Drew, you went to Italy and got chicken salad. You suck." Well folks, suck I do not. The bread around this sammie was possibly the best I've ever had. Light, crunchy, fluffy... wonderful. One of the best bites of the trip. Also... I ate pizza and pasta for every other meal. Anyway, there are a bunch of other fun looking treats (lasagna stacks, ham sammies, etc.) so if you need a nibble while you're in the area, you can't go wrong here!

We had a late evening snack of focaccia and aperol spritzes. The staff was friendly, atmosphere completely laid back, and we had a great time. Everything was fresh and clean! read more

Our original plan was to have frozen yogurt at another place but then we got sidetracked by the vibe of this one, so we decided to stop. What do you know, they actually have yogurt here as well! I ordered Greek yogurt but unfortunately it was clearly sweetened (I know my Greek yogurt) and the toppings were a bit meagre considering other places I've been to. Bit pricey for what it was. I got a croque monsieur to take away and that was actually really tasty (despite the fact 3.50 € is a bit too much for something I can prepare myself with no fuss. Maybe I'm just cheap). Frankly I think their savory selection is better than the sweet one (at least vastly better than the yogurt). read more

They'll basically forget you exist once you order and pay. No apologies for warming you food in a convection oven. Almost burnt pizza for Euro 5.50, nah. read more

Barely any vegan options, the smoothie was lumpy and expensive for what I got, the staff rush customers especially if they don't speak Italian, I expect them to become impatient as I understand it isn't ideal however the service wasn't great regardless. Nice place though and plenty to eat for meat eaters. read more

We rented an AirBnB place about 2 blocks from Via Torino and discovered this little hidden gem the first morning. They have fresh pastries, but also something a little more solid for us foreigners who are used to a hearty breakfast. Choose one of the egg sandwiches, or fresh fruit, or smoothies along with a cappuccino or an espresso and you can't go wrong. They also proudly serve mono-origin coffee, and it is very good! Everything is extremely fresh. They do a quick pastry and cappuccino (traditional Italian breakfast) too. Many working folk drop by for a quick breakfast before heading to work, but the lines move quickly. This was our favorite breakfast place in the Historical Center of Milan (Centro Historico). Highly recommended. The address on their business card and on their website says Via Torino 49, not 50 as listed here on Yelp. Very hip, trendy take out or eat at the counter place on a main shopping street. Excellent grilled sandwiches and unique vegan stacks of food that change daily. Also coffee & gelato bars. read more
