After going for a ride on the London Eye, my tour group split up and we all went looking for good "Eats" around the area. My mom and I stumbled upon EAT. while walking down the street checking out all the various stores and restaurants they have lined up along the busy sidewalks.
It's located across the street from a Starbucks (they have clean bathrooms, since EAT. does not have customer bathrooms), and there is a small, touristy gift store right next door to Starbucks.
I ended up ordering a tomato basil melt, and it was soooo good, and very filling. There was a lot of walking to be done, and the nutritious, melty goodness left me feeling satiated for a good, long while. Plus, it keeps for quite a while. I saved the other half in my bag for later, and it still tasted as good as when I first ordered it.
The store is small, but the have a couple of seats at a counter. Although on a busy day, I'm sure finding a place to sit would be difficult. Overall, I would say it was an excellent experience. It was one of my favorite places to eat at in London. I wish we had one here in California. :-( read more
