This evening ( 31 August 2025), we ordered a dosa and egg muppas ( entree) for our dinner. To our surprise, the muppas were served within no time, while the dosa was served well after 25 to 30 minutes!! For any Indian foodie, this would immediately raise suspicion about the food, as the dosa should not take any time to prepare, while the other than takes some time to cook. Anyway, when I tasted the eggs on the entree, the yoke was very cold and the bread served with the entree was also just lukewarm. When I questioned the waiter, why the yolk is so cold, she did not answer the question and was trying to persuade it is ok. Upon further pushback, the waiter said, this food was served in the afternoon buffet and we just used the leftover food!! They serve recycled food and expect the customer to pay the full price and they do not want to even hide that!! So if you choose to visit this restaurant, make sure you get the fresh food.

I ended up getting a small portion of the Bombay style dum biryani. The small portion is a medium size takeout container vs the large ones. It was around $12 and if you upgraded to the large (which is about double the size) it would have been $15. I waited a few minutes and I had my meal bagged and I then went home to try it out. I opened the container and it was packed pretty well in there. It smelled good and looked pretty good. I had a few bites and that was a good start to the meal. I dug in a bit and got a piece of the chicken to have a bite. That was alright. I may try to the chicken tikka next. Not a bad meal for $12 and a lot of food. 3.5 stars

My boyfriend ordered "buttered naan", which he also didn't get. We just got two plain naan. The food was okay. I've had much better Indian food in Ottawa. Chicken Biryani was good, and I appreciate the fact that the restaurant didn't give us bone-in chicken. The beef vindaloo is flavourful and spicy. It was decent food, but nothing to rave about like all of those Google reviews.
