We have been customers of Kincaid for over a decade and have furnished our kitchen, dining room, great room and master bedroom there, as well as purchased many unique chairs, benches and tables from Kincaid. We are sticklers for quality in the sea of particle-board furniture offered at the local 800-pound gorillas. Kincaid's furniture is always made from the best materials (solid hardwood and durable leather) and is in a separate (higher) class in comparison to what is available elsewhere. We also have had two minor furniture malfunctions (one due to a toddler harming wood on a stool and the other due to doors not properly aligning on a hutch) and both times Kincaid stood 100% behind their piece and either repaired and/or replaced the damaged items, hassle-free. Go to Kincaid!!

Dear 57 Remsen St, Terrible customer service. I've been…read moregoing there for a couple months and there is this old lady who has her own corner who is always taking bad about me whenever I am there. Today I went in and she was mad when I came in even though they were open for business. She kept saying under her breath shd had some stuff to do in her corner. She was angry about watching me and my sister as we were shopping because we she believed we would steal. You would think that as a returning customer she would know by now we are not like that. Sh then chose to talk behind my back to another worker about how I was just "browsing around" and not buying. Of course I have to "browse around" when there is a ton of stuff to sift through!!! She is a very racist women I would say based on my religion and the way I dress. My sister who has Down Syndrome went in with me last month. My sister was tired and sat on one of the old chairs. The same lady goes off my sister ranting with another worker yet again not realizing my sister has a disability. She said "why are they sitting if they won't buy". I'm disappointed at the lack of respect given to me as a customer. I will no longer go here again despite the good finds unless I am given an apology. Another note, I am a LOCAL OF COHOES IN HIGH SCHOOL.

The sales people, of course, are super friendly and promote the latest and greatest products. That's where it ends. Customer service beyond the sale is nonexistent! I've had 2 instances where I've been promised the manager would call me regarding a complaint, calls to are not returned. I had a structural problem with my power sofa, springs or mechanism snapped, within the first year. The service guy, Dan, repaired it and it broke again - same exact problem within 5 months after the repair. I'm being told that the repair is only guaranteed for 30 days and I would have to pay $160 per hr for another service call. He will not waive his labor fee. I tried to contact the manager to see if we could come up with a reasonable resolution or at least voice my complain to the company. No call back, again! Customer loyalty means nothing at La-Z-Boy and sadly their well know name doesn't represent quality furniture or exceptional customer's service. Quite the opposite. Very disappointed!
