The shop cat was also a delight to see, though I didn't get to interact (kitty kept watch over the happenings in the bays). I ended up at this place, after going to Accurate Smog for so many years. This year I went there first and it was so crowded and didn't find a parking spot, since there are so many other businesses there. I checked on yelp for other smog places around the area and found Easy Smog and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. First, they have plenty of parking space and second, I was greeted by Julio and I was told that it would take about 20-30 minutes, I went into the waiting area, which was very nice and clean and it actually took more like 15 minutes. Taik is very helpful and friendly. He fixed my headlight bulb and smogged my car within an hour. I actually did not need to replace my headlight bulb that was out. The person who previously installed it left the plastic thingy mabobber (gauge idk? what it's called) on the car so the bulb was not properly placed in the correct position causing it to pop out or whatever. (I suck at explaining car problems I apologize lol). I plan on coming here as a regular (although I have been here 2 other previous occasions to get smog checks) for other services, for oil changes/tune ups. His prices that he quoted me seem fair and well below the prices of dealerships where I usually get my car serviced. He also did not mind my Chihuahua inside the shop. Easy Smog is the place to go to for a smog check in Torrance! The employees are super nice, the prices are very good and (assuming you have no issues) the process is under 15 minutes! Additionally, if you live near them, they give you a "neighbor" discount. Feel free to ask about it. I can't recommend this place enough for your smog checks. Granted, my cars have always passed the test, so I can't vouch for service/etc when your car doesn't. But, from my experiences here dealing with my car, my wife's, and our mom's cars...this is as painless and as positive as one could go! read more
