She had her people call me…read moreduring my work hours (swing shift) and during my sleeping ours until (10am) then when i call she greets me and asks how i am doing i tell her not so good she had her people call me three times in 24 hours. She responded by saying i if i had let them get a word in edgewise i would know why they called. At this point i lost it asking "now she is going to cop and attitude?" At this point i did cuss her out. I have to say here that the person that called me at 945am twice was cussed out. I will admit that i could have handled this differently. However this is not the first time and i was nice with them those times. Also Tasha was who i spoke with those times as well. She also threatened to "come get her stuff". I am sure there are rules to operating and i am sure they are required to call the primary and get some time to get their payment. Given a better choice i would not go to this store.

I remember fondly buying my first set of tools at Sears after I got that great (and terrible) Sears Credit card in my early Twenty's. I had those tools for 27 years until I sold them at a garage sale so I could buy...That's right NEW Sears tools! In any case I think all Sears are pretty much universal. Been to them all over the country. I'm not saying the one in Altus is better or worse than say the one in Tucson. I'm just using this store because this is where I live and its the store I frequent. I like the one in Lawton too. The 5 star is coming from a place in my heart as well as some practical experience. I personally have never dealt with a Sears employee that did not or was not willing to do whatever it took to make me happy. I have recently been given free parts for a weed eater that I broke just because they had them there and It was the easy thing to do. I've had broken tools replaced on the spot when they had them and ordered immediately when they didn't. I've had things fixed for free at several different stores. They are also one of the last or maybe the last place you can put something on layaway any time of year. In my opinion, across the country, this is the best chain store there is.

I purchased a used refrigerator from them in March of this year. The guy I bought it from said it…read morewould work fine, there was a 30 day warranty, the only thing not covered under the warranty was the water for the ice maker. It made ice, but leaked water so all the ice became one sheet in the tray. No big deal. The real problem came at the end of June. It quit working. The refrigerator wouldn't get cold, and the freezer was just freezing everything on the bottom shelf and everything else was in the freezer was defrosting. We paid them $95 to come out and fix it. The maintenance guy they sent out said that a drain was clogged and it had frozen, so he put a heater on the bag to defrost it. It worked good for about 4 weeks and then the same thing happened again. So I called them back and said, hey it's not working again, same problem. They sent a different guy out and all I saw him do was take apart the freezer and chip the ice off and put it back together. It worked good for almost 3 weeks. Same problem. Called them up and said it wasn't working, again SAME problem. Well they wanted to charge me another $95. Total BS. I wouldn't have to keep calling them up every few weeks if they would;ve just fixed it right the first time. Between original purchase, repair calls, and lost food it ended up costing me around 1000 for a used fridge that didn't work. The 3rd time, the woman that answered the phone was just a b****. I told her I shouldn't have to pay for them to come out and repair the fridge because they haven't repaired it right the first time that I payed for it, they're just doing quick fixes to hurry up and get out. My husband talked to one of the guys that works there, and he said they would send someone out, and would call us back. Well it's been over a week and they have not called back, which is fine because we just had a $1400 Kenmore from Sears delivered today. I would not recommend purchasing from here or asking to have repairs from them. We kept hearing that this was the place to go because of how great they are, but this was not a great experience. Apparently "They have really gone downhill" from what my husband's coworkers recently told him.

I made an appointment after troubleshooting for two weeks trying to get my dishwasher to drain. So I finally called this agency which quoted me about the same prices other places in town. he showed up about 5 to 10 minutes prior to his appointment. Very kind great customer service. It took him literally 15 minutes to figure out the issue and fix it. Since I had already drained this assembled and cleaned out my dishwasher, he gave me a slight discount. Period I am super excited and happy that I went with this company. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a dishwasher issue, especially if you have been trying to figure it out and just need a professional to lead you in a perfect direction.
