As soon as I handed her the check and said, it's dated October 11, what's the problem? She said "Oh, October" and proceeded with the transaction. Wasted 90 minutes of my employees time waiting and made me leave a social engagement to come deal with this nonsense. Not a single apology, not even "sorry, I can't read, I have a 7th grade education". You really shouldn't be using check cashing firms--they charge usurious fees. However, if you must, I would avoid this Easy Money location on University Blvd at 23rd Street South.
