Turns out that I had no need to worry. TrueCare showed up on time, loaded our wheelchair safely, and got us where we needed to go without any hassle. They even offer weekend pickups. Their office staff is polite, and it's easy to reach someone by phone. I highly recommend them for trips in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Hired TLC to take my mom and her aide to and from a doctor's appointment today. It was our first…read moretime using TLC, and only our second time ever using an ambulette service, and I can't speak more highly of the drivers and of the company itself. Dispatch coordinated a seamless, on-time pickup in both directions, and the drivers transported my precious cargo to and from the appointment safely and courteously as well. Also good to note, the ramps worked flawlessly and the vans were clean, warm and comfortable to ride in. The drivers were also adept at maneuvering my mom's power wheelchair so we didn't have any hair-raising moments there lol. We do own our own van with a wheelchair ramp, but our ramp can be finicky so on an inclement winter day such as today it was not only faster to use TLC's equipment, but the drivers took care of strapping her chair in safely so it was also less work for me and her aide in that regard too! Kudos to the team at TLC, and we will definitely use them going forward for our medical transportation needs!

I call for a cab at 8:02 at Patchogue RR…read morewhen I get off the 7:58 train and I'm always told 15 minutes. 20 minutes later a cab comes in and it's a cab driver who can't cross Sunrise Hwy because the driver got into a bad accident years ago by there so I'm stuck waiting another hour till 9:00 pm when the next train comes in!! Why bother telling me 15 minutes if you have no taxis available? Plus shouldn't you have taxis at the train station automatically when trains come in like every other taxi company does? YES!!! And forget about getting a taxi at night during the 7:00 hour because it's shift change and you will never get a taxi until 8:00pm!! You can get off the train at 6:50 and they're already on shift change and you're stuck for over an hour until 8:00 when the evening shift gets on! No other taxi company on Long Island operates this way!! It should be illegal to run this business the way you do!! Another time I was on the train the door on my end of the car didn't open in Patchogue but the other did and I had to go to Bellport and I call taxi and he says "we dont pick up there at this time of night, it's too dangerous." Started walking home then taxi came anyway. I know Bellport is dangerous at 2:20am but still. It's not my fault the train door didn't open up and I got stuck in Bellport!! Shut up and do your job and get the people where they are to where they need to go!!!!

Absolute lie driver was still in area of original appt. Confirmed when I actually spoke to my mother!  Demanded refund for $192 they charged and was told it would be applied to next transport. Told them to €#¥ Thant I would never trust them to transport my mother again. How a company that deals with elderly transport gets away with this is disgusting.

The driver pulled his large commercial vehicle into a spot clearly marked for tenants only and leaned on his horn for about ten minutes instead of being a gentleman and knocking on the door the driver caused a disturbance. Also this horseshoe is a ONE WAY and Choices drivers continuously drive the wrong way. Use common sense!
