There are multiple entrances located in each neighborhood. It is located nearby Queens Courthouse vicinity. It sits on Queens Boulevard, a major thoroughfare. It became compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 1990 with elevators (source: https://www.mta.info/accessibility/stations). There is no mosaic tile or mosaic name tablet which is very disappointing as I always have a predilection, appreciation and enjoyment looking at these tiles for artisans skilled trade tile setter and the MTA NYC Transit history (no, I am not a transit buff nor a Big Apple history buff). This subway station contains yellow trim line with a black border and small "UNION TURNPIKE" captions below in white lettering on black tiles which is rather unappealing and boring. There are several MTA buses where straphangers are able to connect at this station. The mezzanines level is split in half which is gargantuan and wide making it a challenge for straphangers to connect to Q46 bus line that runs along Union Turnpike. This western half of the mezzanine had its token booth closed and removed, ergo totaling inconvenient. Aggravating to straphangers.

I always get them to drive me to MCU the ending of every month so I won't be late for work. After I'm done making a deposit. Now this typical day of Halloween, I call for a cab. I speak to a dispatcher his name is Gary if that's his name. And ask could I have a cab sent to the cross streets between Kissena and Horace Harding at the mobile gas station. My relative got sick and was admitted into Jamaica hospital. No cab now I called back and the dispatcher named Gary proceeds to tell me that the cab was there he left. Now normally when I get a cab I have no problems ever with the cab driver missing me. I've never missed a cab ride due to any complications like this. So I asked the dispatcher Gary what was the cab drivers name he wants to get into a shouting match hangs up. So I recorded the whole thing. Some people just don't need to work with the general public if they have an anger management problem. If he continues getting loud and overly hostile and aggressive with people in the near future he won't get far. His attitude and behavior is distasteful and rude. He seems pretty young and ignorant and I've never heard when a customer ask for a cab drivers name and information. Anyone telling you that you don't need that.

It's downright scary how they drive and I wouldn't trust them to drive any of my family members or my neighbors dog. American Airlines shouldn't use this service anymore. It's low-bid, second rate, and overall a frustrating experience. Thankfully one of the drivers was halfway decent and said, "Even though you made the reservation for the pick up in the morning, call us because there are often problems." He was right. The dispatcher said, "Oh, we had your pickup time at 7 pm, military time." She sounded fake through her prevarications and I knew the driver had given me sound advice.

At the mezzanine level there is a fare control 24/7 station agent. The platform have slate blue I-beam columns, a Jasmine yellow tile trim with black borders, and old world mosaic name tile tablets "VAN WYCK BLVD." The elevator leads only to the mezzanine level. I exited the east side of the service road adjoining the Van Wyck Expressway. Upon exiting there are many shops nearby. There is also a New York City Police Department (NYPD) transit 103rd Precinct at this station.
