Scheduled my needs and got a call from the owner Ryan shortly after. He put my worries to rest and made me feel confident they would be able to get the work done fast! I had a huge storage room, packed to capacity from floor to ceiling and I play a lot of Tetris- so you know I filled it up to the maximum. The guys were able to get in there and start taking things out to make sense of all the items. They were able to get the heavier items out to place safely on the bottom. I called literally every moving company in this area that I could find on Yelp. Everywhere wanted to charge me a truck cost, travel fee, and required a 2 hour minimum. This company is the only one that offered what I needed: strong people to move heavy things from the truck to the apartment for a reasonable fee and on short notice. They were flexible with arrival time, as I was traveling from NY and unsure of time frame due to traffic. They arrived shortly after me, and they worked extremely quickly. They had some trouble getting my couch on the elevator, but they made it work somehow. They were done in less than an hour. If you don't want or need to deal with the hassle and high cost of a moving company, I would highly recommend Easy Days movers. The price is right, and they provide exactly what you need. The owner mentioned he is usually available to take and return calls in the afternoon, so if you don't get him on the first try, call again in the afternoon. read more

Hats off to Easy Days! I hired Easy Days last year because my friend raved about their service. They moved my belongings from Texas to Massachusetts. This move could not have gone any smoother. Ryan and his team packed my antique furniture with care, into a 26' U-Haul and traveled 2,000 miles safely. They made it to MA to my rental home, in a timely manner, as quoted, at a very reasonable price. A year has past, and I recently hired Easy Days again to move my belongings from a storage unit and the rental home, to the next town over. What I thought would have taken them 6-8 hours, only took them 4! I am now living in a sea of boxes, but it's an organized sea of boxes. Again, this move could not have gone any smoother. I used Easy Days for a move a few years ago and had a positive experience so I wanted to use them again - they were affordable and easy to work with at that point. My fiance called and got a quote from Easy Days and the man he spoke with said he would call back to confirm details later. We never got a contract or anything more official than a text that said "you're all set for 2 guys on Saturday." Our moving day is this upcoming weekend so we wanted a bit more detail and reassurance that we'd have movers here on Saturday. My fiance called and texted several times with no response and this morning, after texting to say that if we didn't hear back today we would have to go with another company, received this text message as a response (these are the exact words, copy and pasted): "im not sure how many times we need to confirm the same stuff but the first time qe talked i got all the info i needed plus a time and place what more do we need to discuss. i cant doubke and triple confirm the same jobs we just dont have tome to do that we take 100s of calls a day." That's not the customer service I'm looking for, and it goes without saying that we'll be using another company and will not be using Easy Days again. I'm incredibly disappointed and hope they will improve their customer service in the future. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. I am creating a Yelp account just to leave this review. Here are some of my biggest complaints: 1) The movers were reckless with our $1400 dresser (trying to stand it on its side and putting over 200lbs of weight onto two legs) and damaged it enough that it requires $300 in repairs (not to mention the time and energy associated with hiring a repair company). Despite this being a direct result of his employees' carelessness, Jeff, the owner, was resolute in their "60 cents per pound" policy, not even covering half of the repair cost let alone the cost of the furniture. 2) We ended up paying for an extra hour because the movers couldn't plan the truck load efficiently, sometimes spending a full 30 minutes at the truck rearranging boxes and furniture. 3) They seemed to be having a "who's stronger" contest with how much they could carry at once, to the point that we felt we had to monitor all of their loads to make sure they weren't turning boxes sideways (which they did anyway) or damaging more furniture (which also happened again). 4) They took a cigarette break in front of our new house before unloading the truck, leaving a cigarette smell on our boxes, furniture, and in the house. Having already gone over our estimate by an hour and seen 2 furniture pieces damaged, we ended up moving our remaining furniture (including our entire 3-piece sectional sofa) ourselves. Jeff clearly cares about his bottom line more than his employee quality or his customers' satisfaction, and he left us with a bigger pain in the neck (and the wallet) than if we had just done the work ourselves. read more

My family and i had to move last minute. We called several movers and Easy Days didn't just have a spot open for when we were looking for they had an excellent response time! The communication was amazing and they kept us posted every step of the way! Never having movers before & then having them i would DEFINITELY use them again. I was exhausted just watching all of the work they did and how FAST they completed it! We had a couch that was HEAVY & very narrow stairs and they made it up without any damage to the walls which was incredible! I hired a couple of movers from Easy Days through my U-Haul truck rental to help move an exceptionally large, heavy, and awkward arcade cabinet that I had purchased. From the very get go, John and Ryan, the two movers who arrived to assist us, demonstrated an immensely positive attitude in the face of a very daunting and unusual job, willing to try several different avenues to move this machine up one flight of stairs and down another upon arrival. Not once did they show any outward aggravation over the difficult nature of the job, and maintained this positive, "can-do" attitude throughout the duration of the process. Both John and Ryan were courteous and personable throughout the entire process, and each should be commended for their hard work and willingness to ensure a job is completed at any cost. They completed the task within the allotted time (with room to spare), arrived comfortably within the given time frame, and made excellent use of their skill and time, all for an extremely reasonable cost, given the circumstances. Easy Days makes an excellent alternative to the increasingly high cost of hiring a moving company that arrives in their own truck, providing an equivalent (if not better) degree of service at a fraction of the cost. read more

We used this company when we moved from Malden, MA to Medford, MA in February of 2014 on the recommendation of a co-worker. THESE GUYS ARE OUTSTANDING! Other companies quoted us from $600 up to $950! With Easy Days, the move, including the UHaul, cost us less than $450 (not including the tip) for 6 hours! They showed up on time and got everything we wanted into the truck in one trip. They were friendly, professional, and helpful. They were able to get a piece of furniture into the house that we thought wouldn't fit. I've since recommended them to family and friends. They took great care of everything and treated our furniture like it was their own. So, if you're looking for a company that's going to do a great job for you then these are the movers to call! I worked with Easy Days twice in the past 5 years for my moves, and both times they provided exceptionally great service. My latest move was in July 2018, on a 93 degree day with blazing sun. Josh and Ryan arrived on time and were professional the entire way through. All my furniture and boxes had to be carried from a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator to another 3rd floor apartment with no elevator, but they did not complain a word and just plowed through with amazing efficiency. They were careful, fast, positive and courteous. I highly recommend them for any move that you will be doing, great value for the price. read more

We hired this company to load and unload a truck. The two guys who showed up were very professional and very efficient. They stayed until the job was complete. They were able to navigate furniture around tough corners and make the best use of the moving truck possible. This company doesn't rent the moving truck and simply provides the labor. Given that moving trucks aren't generally that expensive (especially for a local move), this company was the perfect fit for what we needed to do. We weren't expected to move anything and only to direct where things would go in the new house. In the interest of full disclosure, I would have given them a 5, but they were 75 minutes late. The guy apologized and we moved past it, but that was an aggravating start to the moving process. Regardless, I'd still recommend this company and would likely use them again. read more

This was my second move with Easy Days. The first move was excellent. Best move ever. This time, although I spoke to the owner who had moved me before to set things up, they sent the C-team of summer help ...and it was end of summer, crew saying this was their last move, and their attitude reflected it. Things seemed okay during the loading, but when I went back through the house the next day, there were bings and dings on corners. A pain, but easy enough to repaint, since I had the paint handy. When I went to position the furnishings in the new house, I found the scuffs and chips that matched the missing paint. Those cannot be repaired. At one point when loading the team was going to stack a very valuable 60 year-old mahogany sofa on its end for transport. I caught that and stopped it. I didn't catch things like just throughout a heavy steel bed board on top of stuff at the end, which I only found while unloading. I could not recommend using Easy Days. Something happened in the 2 years in the company since I first used them (in the fall of 2017), and my recent move was the unhappy result. read more

We recently moved from Nashua, NH to Merrimack, NH and were really trying to avoid moving ourselves since the last time we moved we could barely move the entire next week. We didn't think we could afford to hire a moving company until we spoke with family and friends who recommended Easy Days Movers. We called and spoke to Jeff (owner) and explained what we had and when our target move date was. He was professional, friendly, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We were pleasantly surprised to find out after speaking to Jeff that we could easily afford to hire them to move us.....all we had to do was rent the truck! On our moving day Jeff and a helper showed up on time and ready to go. We got the truck loaded and were off to our new home. Jeff and his helper followed us and upon arrival started to unload the truck. Start to finish our move only took three hours. They even folded the moving pads that were provided by U-Haul. From start to finish Jeff and Easy Days Movers were a pleasure to deal with. It was affordable, efficient and best of all.....EASY! I had never used a moving company before, and I was worried especially because I was moving at the busiest time in Boston--Sept 1st. Easy Days made everything so simple. Most UNPROFESSIONAL moving company! From the get go, our movers were late, but seemed like nice enough kids. My first impression was surprise at their unprofessional dress. They looked like two "neighborhood kids" that were coming to move us out. The moving process went fairly well for the first 3 hours (mind you, we have a very small 2 bedroom condo), and went completely downhill for an additional 3 hours. After poor planning on their part, they informed us that they would not be able to fit all of our furniture, though when we took a look, there was a good 5 cubic feet of wasted space that the remaining contents of our place could have gone. When we suggested a small reorganization, the young "co owner" (as we were told in one of his many obscene rants), threw his hands in the air and said "I'm done with this." At that, he WALKED AWAY FROM THE JOB with our stuff still sitting on the pavement. Obviously, this company is a joke. If this is how the "co owner" operates, I don't expect this company to be around for long. read more

The young men who showed up to load our truck were friendly, courteous, and hard working. Unfortunately, they did the worst loading job we've ever experienced through half a dozen moves, including cross-country and overseas moves. Almost every single major piece of furniture we own was damaged in some way. One item, an expensive teak buffet, was loaded upside down, and dozens of heavy book boxes were loaded on top of it. When we unloaded it, it was completely crushed. A family antique--which I pointed out as soon as they showed up and told them it was the most delicate, precious thing I owned and asked them to take special care of--was crammed up against the truck wall with no blanket and stuff piled up against it; a top piece broke off during the move. We bought the blankets and rope our trucking company recommended, but if at any time the loaders had told us we needed more blankets, one of us would have run out to get them. They never said a word. And the items they chose to cover and those they didn't were beyond explanation. We have had to throw away the buffet and a dresser mirror, and all our other furniture is scuffed or damaged in some way. When we called to file a complaint, they tried to move the blame to the trucking company. But the damage was all done by sloppy loading, not by the truck moving over the road. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. And the way the company is trying to shift the blame is irresponsible. They told my husband that they are not responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of their work. If you value the goods you've spent a lifetime accumulating, be very careful about signing any sort of contract with these people. read more

Can't say enough about this company. They do not leave you in the lurch. I rented a 26' Uhaul truck thinking it would be enough. They put in a full day )on a hot 90 degree humid day) packing it high and tight and I still had a lot of stuff left. I had to get another uhaul truck and by then it was evening time. They called their boss Jeff as they put in a full day and Jeff showed up with another crew! They packed the other truck, finished at 9pm that night, Whatever it took they did it! My new home was not finished so I had to let them know when I needed them to come unload the trucks. I finally got my closing date and it was on probably the busiest moving day of the year, Even though they had a full day booked Jeff knew the spot I was in and after a full day he sent his crew over late afternoon and they unloaded in 3 hours! I was so impressed and cannot say enough about Jeff and his crew. Thank you so much Jeff for making a difficult move easy! read more
