This spot was actually pretty fun for our first time. Service was great at the bar, Tonya and Stephanie were our bartenders good drinks, food was hot, and they had good recommendations. Even with a packed bar. The atmosphere was fun, good crowd. Yes there is a service charge when using a card but it is posted everywhere so it's not a surprise. Bartender makes me feel like Everything I ask for was a problem . in fact then she followed me around the bar as if she didn't believe me that my car was broken down and I was waiting on On Star to pick me up . So I said " you know why don't I just call them on speaker and get an eta to ease your mind ," i thought then she could possibly stop looking so obviously paranoid and sketchy t. . All this is after I order two full entrées and two double drinks paid her then OVER tipped her. because I could see she was feeling some type of way towards me in the onset. I ask for change to play pool she said I have no qtrs and walked away. I returned back to the bar and for dollar bills that coul change in at money machine . She says very curtly No I don't have any dollars either"! I thought to my self this is a bar that's empty almost completely and I'm a customer that had already provided her with respect undeserved and I payed her very well . It's closing time and she doesn't have any coin change or dollar bills at the end if her shift ?!?? NOT POSSIBLE . I've been a bartender us all I'm gonna say. The whole night was awful starting with I buried my mother that morning which I had told her when I first got there. You would think some empathy and compassion would've been in order, but it wasn't that night. It was an awful ending to an awful day. I will never go there again. I have been going there more than 20 year's. My sister in law was a bartender there and met my brother and then married him. I was shocked at the employees attitude and likened it after an environment where all employees are disgruntled and hated their jobs . I began to converse with a gentleman. No, I don't remember his name but we were having a great conversation I thought. The bartender then rudely interrupted us and told me I had to leave at first I thought that it was joke because all I'm doing is talking. Weren't loud, weren't drunk and hadn't been drinking for to her to be in a conversation that I was having with someone else was strange I asked her to tell me like three times why I was being asked to leave and her responses was I don't have to tell you anything so at this point I'm more confused. This place is nice. It is $5 to get in. I've been there a couple times and never had a problem. It is huge. It has a dance floor, pool tables and a nice bar. The music is great. I've been to this location two times now. The first time my husband and I went we had a great time and the food was pretty good. My tab was $79 and I left a $14 tip for the nice bartender. Second trip there I came with my husband and friend this time. I ordered for all three of us 2 double shots of crown, a yeungling and wings and potato skins. The bartender looked at me and said "your at about $50 with that" I was confused because maybe we looked like we couldn't afford our tab? Not quite sure but I will never come back to this place. The funniest part was that she didn't put in the potato skins at first because she was more concerned about if I can afford my order. If you're black I highly do NOT recommend. The building is nice and could be the perfect atmosphere but it's 2022 and they're still extremely racist. I was served cold wings and when I wanted the wings corrected they called the manager, stood around and mocked me. I am highly pissed!!!!!!!! I have frequented this establishment for several years now. It's the place my family go for burgers. We place the exact same order every time which totals $40 plus dollars for 3 hamburgers. After waiting 30 plus minutes on a call in order, tipping graciously for a call in order, and paying fifty cents each for blue cheese, I get Home to burgers burnt to a crisp. My wife and I decided to return the food for the first time in years. I showed the food to the attendant who took my order and she was like wow! I advised the management that I just wanted my money refunded. I was told if I were to get refunded I could never place another call in order ever again. Can we truly say "Customer No Service!" I've never experienced anything like this. I can truly say they will never get a shiny red cent from me ever again. Not my type of place to hang out on the regular, but it's ok for a late night bite if you catch them on a good day or don't have any other options to grab a bite. That was the case with me due to power outages in my area. The food was meh and bleh. I ordered the wings-hot flavored and although the wings were meaty, there was NO flavor to them whatsoever so don't be fooled by the pic. I'm very disappointed. Maybe I came on an off night, but I highly doubt it. Music was upbeat and diverse in genres which I loved. Smells heavily of smoke and rancid, never been washed, sweaty, stanky booty with a touch of musty scrotums. Now I am writing this from the perspective of a 24 year old that is accustomed to going out in Downtown Atlanta. If you're looking for the definition of a local bar than this is for you. Pros first. This place is very spacious and has a lot of room to move around and dance if you want. The service was great. The waitress was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. She checked on us ever 15 minutes or so making sure we were alright. This location also has a ton of parking so you wont find yourself spending half of your night driving down the block looking for spaces. Ok now cons. The drinks we ordered were not that strong. Even the drink that the waitress suggested as one of the strongest wasn't really hitting me like I thought it would. Also If you are looking for a younger crowd this isn't the place you are looking for. This isn't really a con or a knock on the business. It just has an older demographic. The music was also a little dated and could have used some modernization. All in all this is a bad little local bar/restaurant. Nothing spectacular about it though. read more

This is a cool low key spot at the top of a hill, but the cigarette smoke is terrible! If your not a smoker this is not the place for you! I've been 2-3 times now I attended a foam party hosted by Starship and let me just say it was the best fun ever!! We splashed around in the bubbles I got a few free vibrators that was tossed to the crowd so that made it even Cooler, it was the best fun for $5 entry! Casual dress. We paid $5 to get in, all the tables were reserved which was very weird so I was about to start complaining and leave. We walk a little further and look to the back of the place where they have pool tables and more tv's. There were a few bar stools back there so we had a seat. The people in there playing pool we nice they spoke, nodded their heads, cracked a smile. You can tell their all regulars. We ended up playing a few games of pool drinking a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves. Mixed crowd, hip hop music for the most part. They charge a 5.00 cover on Fridays before you get in. After you pay, you open the front door and the very thick strong cigarette smoke hit you right in the face. So be prepared to smell like smoke when you leave the place. Now i am in my late 40's and felt like it when i walked in. New hip hop blasting over the speakers and your 20 somethings folks gyrating on the dance floor. One of the strengths Eastside has is their ability to have something for everyone and music that makes you wanna dance. I've been on the weekends and I like how they alternate a karaoke song (think popular music) with Top 40 dance music. This is the only place I've ever been where I'm completely ok with someone singing karaoke. They crank the music up and make it fun. The bar is no fuss and has a hole in the wall feel despite its size. It's a good alternative for somewhere to go when I don't want the Atlanta nightclub experience. It's worth checking out if you've never been and there is plenty of people watching! read more

I've never had a bad time here and my last outing was no different! I had a large group coming in on a Friday night and I reserved a few tables for us using their online reservation system. Manager Tonya, confirmed with me the day i made my reservation and the day of. Amanda was our server and she checked on us very frequently so we never had to search for her. DJ Kidd was AMAZING! Back in October the music was very one note, but this time he brought his A Game! He played a fabulous mix of old school, new school, pop and country music.
