The owner knows every kid's name and addresses them each in a way that makes them feel special and important. When I visited the school, the owner took a lot of time showing me all the different types of activities and what skill each exercise is trying to achieve. And they rotate all the activities and stations very periodically so it is always fresh and new and the kids don't memorize the answers or get bored. I was also impressed with how the school will help with suggesting other places in the area for other interests, and even other preschools, if this is not the one for you! I was very impressed when I visited the school. I think it is an amazingly nurturing, fun, educational environment.

This was a horrible environment- montessori learning tools but in a rigid, stifling program. My son was punished for creativity. Visiting the school I found 16 identical everything- no child was allowed to invent or create or think. I met with the director and she went off on an irrelevant rant about her own child- who was already an adult at the time, with no real grasp of what was happening in the classroom or playground. There are real montessori schools in the area which are much healthier environments. Run.

Our family has had an incredible experience here. Miss Dana and Miss Crystal began our child's first school experience in Pre-K 3 and all he experienced and learned was beyond our wildest expectations. This year in Pre-K 4 with Miss Lindsay and Miss Christie instilled an incredible amount of knowledge into our child and assisted him to flourish into a confident, bright little boy! He learned to write his first and last name, his colors, shapes, numbers, letters, letter sounds and so much more! He can even sound out words! This year he also learned French and can recite colors, numbers and salutations with thanks to Miss Hinda and sign language with thanks to Miss Dana. Miss Debbie and Miss Danielle run an exceptional school and we are so honored to have been apart of it! Other than academics and learn through play, the children also got to experience week of the child which included bounce houses, pony rides and a carnival! The graduation was also anything beyond we could have ever imagined. From the performances, songs, decorations and the after ceremony celebrations was incredible. There are no words to express how thankful we are for Nursery Rhymes and how difficult this "see you later" is for us. They are flexible with everyone's needs. Mrs. Lazzaro is a child whisperer. She knows how to handle any situation with the children. Mrs. Morrissey is very entertaining and bubbly, that's why the kids love her! The aids, Mrs. King and Mrs. Orta, are also very caring and nurturing. They are all there to really take care of the children. We wouldn't trust our kids with anyone else.

Now in middle school, we've been happy with the changes at the new building at the boys and girls clubs. I have one who graduated and at 4 years old was able to read and add at the time of graduation. My second is currently enrolled. She started out shy and not easy to make friends and due to their loving nature and inclusive attitude she has adjusted and loves playing with all of her friends. Aside from the ABC's and 123's, they teach the children to include others and honestly care for each other. Even if I was home and had all of the time in the world to raise my children on my own, I could not replace the value added to their lives by the wonderful staff at Carousel.

Age-appropriate, hands-on learning make students excited for school and they REALLY learn! Teachers are in tune with the children and handle classroom management beautifully! My children who left Kindergarten and had to test to get into private school did VERY well on their standardized tests. The play-based Kindergarten is enriching with hands on experiences, science, reading, writing (it's January and they're making books and sounding out their own words!)
