Usually if your failing a class,The teachers basically tell you to work harder,They don't do anything more to help you,let alone step in and try to offer help.The school has a drug problem that usually goes under the staffs noses,Or they just choose to ignore it.I would never want to send my child here,let alone ever step foot into the establishment again.Over my time at manchester,The school always smelled like a mix of sweat and feces,Especially in the hotter months.The lunchroom would smell unbearable,Being the fact that they have uniforms and most people do not wash them/let alone change them,Every room smells like death. The falcons lounge, one of the "highlights" of going to manchester,has been reported to be invested with bed bugs and other insects,it is often very hot in there as well. I really tried to like this school because I thought my son was happy only to find out that he had been unhappy for the past few years and comments about his skin tone were continuously made.. very disappointing for being a private school.. i am giving paterson public schools a five star yelp rating for one reason and that reason was for…read moreprincipal joe clark who has passed. the movie lean on me was based on principal clark's life as a educator and mentor for many kids who did not come from privilege backgrounds. mr clark really cared about the kids and his way rubbed plenty of school officals, parents, politicans, paterson city council members , etc, the wrong way but he didnt give a shit cause his job was to make sure the kids got a decent education and he did his best for that to happen. he would kick out of school anyone who he deemed trouble and when parents would complain about their kids being expelled he would personally speak to the parents and explain whats gotta be done for them to be allowed to return and most did. over the years mr clark was offered high paying jobs and even was offered a position in president ronald reagans cabinet but he declined the offers cause he didnt want to leave the kids . after he left as principal of eastside he was in charge of a detention center for teens in new jersey . rest in peace principal joe clark you did it your way , the right way.

The past 4 years have helped her grow academically, socially, through volunteerism and faith. She has received incredible academic scholarships from MANY TOP Universities. She could not have done this without the help of the entire MHCA staff. Led by the warmest nuns you could ever meet who are not afraid to teach the young ladies right from wrong. I love the atmosphere. I love the fact that all of the teachers know her name. I send my kids to Catholic schools for a reason.
