When I went to this "school" (if you can call it that) students would sell dope, snow and gamble, fight and steel in the locker room when the fat lazy gym teacher talked on this phone outside while eating a donut and drinking coffee .Principal Morano and the rest of the district are techphobes (Mike the lazy IT guy as hes known wines about how he hates PCs and loves Apple) and Morano it was his way each student would have to bring in logs in the winter time (to heat the joint), a small chalkboard and a feather to write with (no fancy pall point pens students may get distracted). Some students are so behind at RHS, in the sped class they review the alphabet (no joke) watch kids TV shows, write letters to Santa and play with childrens toys. If you live in the town run fast,send your kid to a private school or home school. If I could give this school 0 stars I would. I also heard that they want to get rid of the pool that the students can't and dont use and turn it into a cafeteria so students will NOT be able to leave for lunch any more. Students come from all over the West Hudson-South Bergen area including Lyndhurst, North Arlington, Kearny, Harrison, Rutherford, East Rutherford and Wood Ridge, as well as Nutley and Belleville in Essex County.

Both my daughter and I were so pleased with Little Ferry and we were sad when they graduated to public school Now my younger daughter has a 14 month old boy and is looking for nursery school for the fall. Unfortunately, she does not live near Little Ferry and went to checkout one of the nurseries in her area. Unfortunately, she was extremely disappointed because it did not meet the atmosphere and love felt at Little Ferry. Everything felt sterile to her. She is going to checkout out other nursery schools but she feels as if they will never compare to Little Ferry.

I am a neurotic mother and left every day knowing my kids were in good hands. They loved it there. They played, learned all a preescholer can learn. They got potty trained there. They have great summer fun programs. I coundt be happier with them. Wouldnt have had them anywhere else. I checked other schools and they were the best fit to our needs. Never a problem. We were there for over 5 years. Teachers were very good.
