The classes have a suggested workout (but you are free to flex it as needed), and the coaches (Shawn, Romark and Martins) are endless perfectionist when it comes to form. The community is super welcoming and everyone cheers people on and helps either with tips or just helping you move weights around. Shawn and Martins really helped me focus on the fundamentals of my squat and deadlift. I have a lot of bad habits to break, and they are constantly trying to help cue me to improve. Martins drops in when he can and obviously its super cool to get lifting advice from the guy who won world's strongest. You can see even see the trophy at the gym!

The equipment is fairly new as well as most of it being from the rogue brand. The community is pretty welcoming even though it's a very small establishment. The biggest complaints are how the business aspect is structured, workouts you pay for, and a staff member. The business aspect was weird like set appointments pay later but like I definitely could of booked the appointment, worked out, and walked out without paying. Now obviously I didn't do that but there are people like that in the world who would take advantage of a situation like that. Next The session you pay for... soooo it's $50-60 for a day pass, once we started working out it was minutes passed the start time, "time is money" and felt like I was cheated a bit, session's are usually an Hour and a half my session started at 5 we began like at 515 and we literally did 3 workouts so kind of a bummer left with no pump and confused on $50 for 3 workouts! Now for the last complaint the staff member. Our coach for that session was Shawn Couch. When working out there was no real demonstration. It was like hey "this is the work out now do it" type of deal. For instance if a person who is a first time lifter walks in doing these lifts with no knowledge or form practice they can seriously injure themselves, and when he did "demonstrate" he took a person of the class to demonstrate it but still comment on what they are doing wrong. It goes with saying if you want something done right you have to do it yourself but he definitely wasn't about that life. He seemed more frustrated about how we weren't lifting correctly than to show us how it's actually done or supposed to look. At the end of our session he demanded that we put everything back, but it was said in a manner of I'm better than you I'm not helping you and walked out. I'm definitely coming back again to see/feel the vibe from the other coaches. I feel that this gym has major potential! But has to rid of certain things for it to blow up. Over the years they've continually upgraded their equipment, improved the layout, and made changes that have only made the gym better. During COVID, they adapted quickly and made decisions with their members' health and safety in mind, which I really appreciated. The expanded women's locker room is a great addition, and I love that they've added an entire section of glute-building equipment along with cold plunges. The huge outdoor workout area is perfect, especially with the beautiful weather lately. The gym is thoughtfully organized into different sections, making it easy to focus on whatever muscle group you're training. One of my favorite perks is the recovery room. After a tough workout, I can use the Normatec compression boots or relax in the red light therapy beds to help with recovery. It really feels like a complete fitness experience. To top it all off, Coast Laundry and their wash-and-fold service are right next door, so I can get my laundry done while taking care of my health. It's incredibly convenient to knock out multiple errands in one trip. I truly love this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gym that continues to invest in its members and improve year after year.

I asked the to check in their office , where they keep lost items. He would not check because "he knew" it was not there. Wtf, guy only had to walk 20 feet and check just in case it was turned in. I tried to email the owner via the website but it wood not allow me to so. A separate issue is the horrible conditions on d the showers . The cleaning guys in the morning are awesome; however, managements needs to fix the shower heads and shower handles . How the hell are we supposed to work out ,shower and go to work from there when several showers are not working . I've been a member for about ten years but I am considering canceling my membership.

I just wanted a place where I could learn to lift weights safely and effectively, and be around regular people. Not influencers. I started at Game Time Strength about a month and a half ago, and I love it. It's everything I want in a gym and nothing that I don't. As someone who hadn't lifted weights in decades, I was honestly nervous about starting again in my 50s. From day one, everything exceeded my expectations. Their commitment to proper form and technique creates a very safe place to train. Each session builds on the last, so you feel progress without feeling overwhelmed. They truly understand what it's like to be new, and I feel encouraged, seen, and supported every time I walk in. The biggest compliment I can give is this: I genuinely look forward to my training sessions. A lot more than I ever expected. I'm getting stronger, my mobility is improving, and I feel better overall. I also love that they have multiple locations nearby and a ton of training days and times. They make it about as easy as it gets to stay consistent.

Now as a local permanent resident I found out that it's possible to get a community membership which is about a third of the price of my last gym however, this gym has better hours!!! I really love the basketball courts, as well as the pool and in general all of the natural lighting. It's such a bright and airy and gym... the opposite of depressing. You actually want to be here to work out. Why I'm giving this place five out of five is not just the customer service from the student workers who are super friendly and nice, but I really appreciate all of the adaptive equipment I can use here as a now disabled adult. I only wish I knew I could join sooner !

I do a mix of small group and group classes, and I genuinely enjoy every one of them. I love how much focus there is on form. The trainers make sure you're doing everything correctly and safely, and they really individualize the programming to different levels. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, they meet you there and still push you to go further. The group programming runs for 5-6 weeks at a time, which I love because you can actually track your progress and see how much stronger you're getting. I've been challenging myself to lift heavier and heavier, and I've noticed such a big change in my body -- someone even told me I have "Madonna arms," which made my day! So you have 2 crappy songs playing at once and someone shrieking into a microphone for an hour. Wear headphones. And I don't know how they even found half-ply toilet paper but it is literally see through. It's still the best option in the area. But for $140 a month, I expected more.
