I am brand new to this gym but I left a big box gym because I had trouble finding parking, free machines or a bathroom that didn't make me a little queasy.

I found myself relaxed and sweating at the same time. Received a nice strengthening stretch at my own level of fitness and flexibility. I look forward to my next class. Check in was easy. Just scan my QR code at front desk or you can enter the children's daycare entrance. Lockers are available outside the class. Shoe cubbies outside the class too. This granted us an hour to hit the gym at this location - both close to the Hilton where we parked and the airport. He gave me a quick tour of this massive facility and at 6:30am, was already busy with moving, grunting, sweating bodies of all shapes and sizes. While I ran indoors on a treadmill, Zach opted for the pre-sunrise, cold weather outdoor run. We met up again at the free weight station. There was a lot of room and time for me to swing the 30lb kettlebell, do my pull-ups and dead-hangs without waiting and plenty of yoga mats to use for stretching and core exercises. If we had more time, the sauna would've been nice too, but I had some difficulties with the locker and had to wait for a few minutes for a front desk attendant to assist me.

Relatively clean for the most part but from pictures I have seen from the other reviews, some of the weights are a little banged up. I am okay with this as long as it doesn't fall apart on me and the gym is kept clean, particularly the showers. I believe the premium we are paying for the gym is particularly for the cleanliness which after being at 24 hour fitness and la fitness, I understand how disgusting those places can be. Parking - Large parking lot - in the morning parking was pretty easy to park but I am sure this locations can get packed during the afternoon/night time.

I asked Rico if I could work in on the squat rack while he was doing a circuit of 4 exercises where 3 exercises were off of the squat rack. He told me no and threatened me saying that he knew I was the one who complained about him and he "DOESN'T CARE WHAT MANAGEMENT SAYS". For being 65 years old you would think he'd be more respectful of people and the rules of the place he works at. I'm not sure if there are different rules at the other gyms he trains people at, but I would expect he would follow Equinox's rules. **Update - Today I asked again to work in Rico on the squat rack and he again said no. He said he had 2 back to back clients where he was going to use the squat rack and I couldn't use it. He told me that the Equinox VP says he doesn't have to let anyone work in with him. He then threatened to get my membership revoked today and proceeded to call me childish for asking to work in. Rico proceeded to hog the platform squat rack for over an hour even though he was done using it with his 1st client so I couldn't squat on it. I don't understand why he's the ONLY Personal Trainer I've had threaten me multiple times and not let other paying members use equipment during busy times. Can someone please provide me with the corporate contact info if they have it?

Each day the "usually" switch between a upper/lower workout and a cardio type workout... weekends they go hybrid. I've enjoyed a few classes during the week and really enjoy them. The instructors motivate, correct and punish you all at the same time.. English, Courtney and Jen are all amazing and will push you to limits you didnt know existed. Work sets go in rounds with early rounds being longer and the final set being shorter but with more intensity... And just when you think you are at your max, English will drop a 45 lb plate on your lap during tricep dips or Courtney will have you do the ladder hops backward. What clear is members become family and push each other as well. I like that they have classes throughout the day and evening and the app makes it easy to book, read about the training and see who the dungeon masters... I mean trainers are. I think this program works well for someone that is looking to get in shape and follow a program and be part of something. I also thinks it's a great change of pace to your normal gym workouts. I try and go once a week on a low intensity run day or a rest day... trust me I think I enjoy the punishment Each pod has a variety of difficulty levels so you can find where you are at and grow with it. The diversity is great for your body and mind. I look forward to my next programming change as I will use two weeks straight at F45 to transition to a new program. Make sure you are on time to stretch and warm up as you will push yourself hard. The facility has 2 bathrooms, towels and a water machine so you can fill your bottle. And at the end you will get a eucalyptus wet towel and it feels like heaven at that point. I would be remiss if I didnt mention that while the company is from Australia, Mark Wahlberg did a stint to prepare for a role and loved it so much he invested and loves it. You never know who you might see there... maybe even me...
