Anyway he spent ~45 minutes replacing the seat post, taking apart my pannier rack, bending the parts in his vice clamp, drilling holes, adding no-slip hardware, etc. He then charged me almost nothing for all his hard work. Having finished my tour, I can say with some authority that Bob is the best I have ever seen. His work held up over 175 miles and many thousands of bumps, no problems whatsoever. He saved the bike and my trip! Thanks, Bob!

It was ready within 48 hours when they said it could be a week. When I picked it up the shop was a bit busy. Both times have been a pleasant surprise, as it's often challenging to execute the "Community" feel before COVID and after. Pre-COVID January 2020: came in to dig through their bins of random parts to work on a project bike. Everyone was buzzing around, but also stopping by to talk/help. Prices were more than reasonable and I left happy with this initial experience. COVID Season August 2020: came back for a seat post, but also had some lingering pieces on the bike to clean-up. Two volunteers greeted me at the garage door and we immediately began tackling the projects. Seat post, bike chain and brake cables.
