Core 83

I have lived at Core83 for nearly a year now and I love it!…read more The location is wonderful. Not too close to the noise on Cleveland/Redmond Way but not too far away as it is still an easy walk to the transit center, shopping, groceries, and area restaurants. If I want to, I can keep my car parked all weekend and totally slow down by walking everywhere. The apartment themselves have a very open floor plan with taller ceilings that has them feel ever more spacious. Having made a few friends in the building, I've been able to see several of the floor plans, and they've all been great. And the rooftop lounge....FABULOUS! Over the summer I enjoyed grilling with neighbors, incredible sunsets, and slow evenings in front of the fire pit. The management team is great. Angie, Rhonda, and Lony have been wonderful to work with. Whether I have maintenance request, questions about packages, or anything else, they handle it quickly, professionally, and with a smile. They also allow larger dogs. Since moving to Core83, my dog has become quite social. He loves saying hi to familiar faces and new ones alike. My son's favorite part? The freshly baked cookies daily. Core83 has become more than just an apartment for us. It has become our community. I am looking forward to signing another lease here.

You can tell a lot of thought was put into it, and I loved how responsive and knowledgable the property management was too...felt very comfortable talking to them and felt there was a great value in the size of the rooms, location, and amenities like the fitness center that is HUGE and had plenty bikes and machines so it's not awkward in the morning when that one person hogs the elliptical for an hour (my current situation - I see you Susan) Also, as a woman, security is very important to me and I was very excited that a luxury complex was going in this neighborhood compared to the tiny little places downtown that lack privacy and space in general.

Just moved to Wa for work and needed to find a place last minute. Looked at about a dozen…read moreapartments in the area and chose 162Ten and am so glad I did! Not only is this place roughly half the price of every other building in the area but the location is a short walking distance to all old town Redmond & the mall and it's literally less than 2 Miles from work. The building is nice and new with more amenities than I will ever use, and has 4 common areas that are each different themed and have beautiful views! With any apartment complex especially a high rise community the property manager plays a huge roll in having a comfortable problem free stay during the duration of your lease term. Kelly the on-site manager not only went out of her way to accommodate my schedule for viewings and answering my 3000 questions before I was ever a resident, but since then the only issue I've had since after getting my keys was with a third party internet Co. that she resolved literally on my lunch break! If you're looking for a place in the Redmond area I highly recommended 162ten!!!

Nick skillfully coordinated a schedule that allowed us to tour three properties--Vision5, 162TEN, and Tudor Manor--on the same day. His proactive approach ensured that we could apply, sign the lease quickly, and pick up the keys in just three days. Throughout the move-in process, Nick was informative and consistently available to address our questions and concerns, making the transition smooth and stress-free. While all the apartments are small they are clean and have community areas featuring a full kitchen, a laundry facility, an outdoor patio, and a recreation room.

I am very happy here for a variety of reasons. I really appreciate Alvero and the other staff…read moremembers. All staff I have encountered here are very nice and friendly and helpful. The garden style with at least some out door feel is better than nothing in a downtown apartment. It's better than feeling like my 7 year old and I live in a hotel. I love that there is a small pool we could use in the summer. My son loved it. It isn't used much by others so we almost had a private pool. :-) The workout room is modest, but if you are super serious about that sort of thing, there are tons of options very close by. I love that we are walking distance to virtually EVERYTHING we need. The transit center is close by as well. Because of the central location and being so close to transit, this is a great place to live if you by chance don't have a car. But if you do, you also will enjoy the covered, assigned parking. I like that the complex is not humongous, so it is easy to start to recognize faces of the residents. This makes it easier to spot someone who doesn't seem to live here for any safety concerns. But, speaking of safety, I feel very safe here. The complex is gated (not securely but it certainly sends a message). I have never had my car messed with, and I have never had strange knocks on my door from people selling things. The other residents tend to come and go and keep to themselves (typical behavior of folks in this area), but we might get a smile or wave here and there. Nothing unreasonable about that, and everyone seems quiet and respectful of others. I have not dealt with any loud noisy neighbors, no loud parties, no super weird smells, no drama in the middle of the night. The people here seem to be professional singles, young couples, a few empty nesters, and a few small families. The cons: As no honest review is perfect, I will add the rent is what it is for downtown Redmond. It's not a great deal, but it isn't unreasonable either. (Although parking fees are super reasonable compared to other places). It annoys this native midwesterner that the apartments do not have air conditioning, but again, not usual for this area. The parking lot layout is a different design that sometimes annoys me, but isn't a huge deal. Finally, it's be awesome to have a designated place for kids to play, but again, that is wishful thinking for this Urban setting. The good news is there are several parks within a five minute walk. There is some noise pollution here from the city: traffic, transit center, sirens, etc..... but that is what you get when you live downtown in any major city.

They will force you to pay for internet which they give you 1 option to choose from and there is no way out of it. You better use their terrible Xfinity package or else! Maintenance is will try to mansplane an issue to you and still not fix it correctly despite you telling them the known issue. Guess I'll just hire someone to actually fix the issues in this outdated apartment complex with many serious issues starting at NO insulation that will hike your electric bill to double the price. Lastly, the buildings are going to be torn down so don't bother looking at this place because they won't even notify you of this prior to move in. They actually won't tell you much of anything other than make sure your door is locked. The apartments are highly outdated with several issues like plumbing, cracks through the whole entire wall, old appliances and terrible insulation. Such a bummer because the apartments are a great size and located in the heart of Redmond.

There is a legal requirement that within 30 days of lease termination prior tenant is to be sent a statement of account regarding why they either won't be receiving a refund or will only be receiving part of it, this company has not complied with that requirement and when I left this exact same google review on the apartment website it was hidden. Skyline apartments and google will not allow me to leave this review. I have also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and have found this company has had more than one class action lawsuit filed against them. I wish I had done better research on FPI Management before I rented from them. Response : I have already been in contact with your team, no response. Legal issues are not taken seriously by your company at all, maybe look into our own company's history of lawsuits filed by the Federal Trade Commission, which is public record. The fact that your company still engages in practices that are not compliant with the law show how seriously these issues are taken

Odessa, the leasing manager, was a great tour guide and knew a lot about the building, even though she is new to the team. Got back to me and my wife pretty quickly, and was happy to send over a virtual tour she took when we weren't able to tour the place for a few weeks. Really liked the overall vibe of the place, and it is very convenient if you work for Amazon/Microsoft/Google/ from home and want somewhere to walk around in a safe area. Blanton Turner is a pretty good company, and i have a few friends that live at one of their apartments in SLU. It's nice to have something local that knows the area and not a big corporation that just sees people as a number. Definitely recommend!

How do I know? He didn't update some of his magazine subscriptions and had a ton of catalogs sent to the address after he left. Also we had the same neighbors he did after he moved out and we heard nothing. Not anything. There was no rain issue on the roof. There were no bass problems from other tenants. The maintenance person is here 2 or 3 times per week, usually 3. Sometimes he's here more. Julie is insanely easy to work with and keeps in touch with tenants like crazy. We had an issue with our dishwasher and she was VERY informative. She has always been super helpful. Management has responded to all of our calls very quickly and I've been more than satisfied. These places are great. The interiors are great. The appliances are fantastic. The layouts are wonderful and everyone here is very helpful. The community watches out for itself and our neighbors are friendly. Sub-woofers in townhomes are a bad idea. I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise, so that's really on the tenant. Julie I think you should ban them for future residents :). Really this place is amazing. It's half a block from a transit center, a block from a Trader Joes, it's within walking distance of tons of stuff. Here is an update to this review as of 7/30/15 Pamela was the manager in part of 2014. She was ridiculously incompetent. The company fired her and hired Tammy as quickly as the could find a qualified and suitable replacement. Pamela was a dark spot in terms of management. She was actually kind of a comedy show, but unprofessional. I'm glad she's gone. This place still gets 5 stars from me. Units are great.

This was my first move after college, and I was super nervous about finding the right apartment, especially being a black woman in the Pacific Northwest. Station House was one of my first finds, but little did I know it'd be my last! I'm SO glad I moved here, and it's honestly starting to feel like a second home. The apartments, hallways, and lounge areas are all very clean, sleek, and modern. I'm really picky about my space, and I personally love it here. There's a cute movie room, a kitchen for lounge parties, an upstairs pool table area, and a few work spaces. I live in a large open one bedroom, and it's the perfect size for one person that wants a cozy but sizable apartment. There are smaller options of course, larger options, and then there are the lofts on the first floor which are gorgeous! Everyone on staff here is incredibly kind and very quick to address any needs or concerns. Maintenance requests are easy to put in and they also respond pretty quickly, especially in emergencies. The resident portal as a whole (for payments + any requests) is easy to use overall. The mail system is very easy to use and my packages never get lost. The neighborhood overall is smooth, no real disturbances in the area and feels very safe. And finally, everyone I've met here (the community, my neighbors) are super kind! It's a very warm and friendly environment, and very quiet once you're in the apartment. I don't think I've ever experienced a noise disturbance. The *only* downside for my more active folks is that the gym is pretty small, but otherwise, I love it here!!!!! I'd recommend it to anyone.

It was hard to find a decent rate/ relatively under $100 dollars per hour for a space rental, especially in the Seattle area so this turned out well. Communication with the Red160 team was consistent and effortless! They did such a GREAT job answering my questions. They were also really FLEXIBLE with timing, what to bring, and only asked that the minor rules be followed :) We met with one of the team members the day of to unlock the space and he made sure the restroom was also unlocked for the guests, and it's literally right next to the room! Load and unload to the side of the space made things easier. The parking situation was warned to us so he suggested the park or street. My guests had fun playing billiards! We were able to put things in the fridge and use the microwave which made things easier. The audio on the TV presented no issues when I presented a slideshow presentation! Highly recommend that if you're not a tech person and you know someone that is, bring them along cuz they know where to connect things lol. Our point of contact was helpful and said that only the trash and recycling to be taken out to the near dumpsters. But there was no soap or sponge provided to clean dishes as well as a broom and dustpan to sweep. We would've loved to clean the space more but we've tidy up most that we could and left the space as is. He has informed us prior not to worry about it and only the trash was the concern! For your guests, especially if they're trying to find this room, please inform of where to go or if it's a surprise to leave a marker like balloons outside. We were so busy running around that we forgot that last minute and did so during the moment leading up to the surprise! Other than that, we loved the space! It was just right! I really appreciated the communication for this one!
