There is a good selection of both retail stores and restaurants. This area of Alabama is certainly growing. It is good to see places like this along with the growth. All in all I have to give this five overall stars. read more

This place is turning into a destination for families and I couldn't be happier! it's an outdoor mall but it's not your average outdoor mall. for starters they have a pirate themed indoor mini golf! there's also indoor batting cages at coastal sports academy, AXE THROWING, a theater, cold slab ice cream shoppe. a barnes and nobles. and even an indoor kids play area called Jumping Jellybeans! wish my kids were little enough to go there anymore there are also a bunch of festivals amd fun outdoor activities. i just attended a pep rally there tonight for Spanish Fort High School. there's a to. of restaurants as well and chain snd specialty stores. yep. i love this place. read more

My hubby & I were exploring some new areas & places to shop & found this shopping center. It has some high end stores like Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Victoria Secret & Dillard's. We also loved the restaurant selections. We can't wait to try the California Dreaming place. We had lunch at Half shell Oyster house & we were both shocked how good it was. It is very clean, nice walking areas with a fountain & the parking was really good even thou it was super busy on a Saturday. We will be back! :)) read more

Although it has wonderful fashion anchors in Belk and Dillard's, the lifestyle center between the two is lackluster in terms of tenant occupancy. Many storefronts are either vacant or have never been developed in the decade since ESC opened. I expect the remaining higher end stores still located here to relocate to west Mobile over the next couple of years. read more

Here not only was Baldwin County, but moreover South Alabama's opportunity to finally develop an upscale regional shopping center. In the months leading up to its fall 2004 debut, there was a constant canard over which specialty stores would occupy the approximate 300,000 square feet of in line tenant space between Dillards and eventually the market's first Belk. Apple? Coach? J. Crew? Surely, Gap's expanding Banana Republic format would join the roster as they 've done in Montgomery and Birmingham!? What did arrive October of 2004 was the typical assortment of mall retailers, plus a passel of lifestyle center tenants on an expansion spree. Eight years and a Great Recession later, Eastern Shore Centre seems more like an afterthought cladded in mildew stained fake stucco. Either through outright bankruptcy (Sharper Image, Liz Claiborne Shoes) or poor performance (Hollister Co., Sand Dollar Lifestyle, The Shoe Dept), many national and regional retailers have shuttered their stores here. No tenant building here seems fully occupied. This lifestyle center isn't awful, just underwhelming. When Bel Air Mall and even Legacy Village become tiresome, Eastern Shore Centre is a definite respite. I find it pleasant to wander along the streetscapes during the spring and early summer taking in the landscaping and stronger architectural features. Back in 2004, this was the second best looking lifestyle center in Alabama, trounced only by The Summit. When I get bored, I venture off either to the assortment of casual dining restaurants located around the lifestyle center (Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday, Stix) in outparcels, or into elsewhere along the Eastern Shore of Baldwin County. read more

This shopping mall is located in a suburb of Mobile. My wife and I found this place several years ago after passing the exit ramp on I-10 several times. We saw that there was a lot going on, and it seemed that there was a lot of vehicle traffic going on over there. So, we finally checked it out in 2008. After exploring the mall for a bit, we were actually quite surprised for the selections of stores available, especially for the Gulf Coast. Nowadays, my wife mainly likes to come to this mall for the Williams-Sonoma and the Pottery Barn stores. I cannot express in words on how obsessed she is with those stores. And, in case the wife wants to spend forever browsing the stores, I always have my safe-haven to go to, Barnes and Noble. Overall, I think this is a great option for shopping if you have gotten sick of the plain old (and limited) Cordova Mall in Pensacola. read more

My husband and I like the Eastern Shore Centre and have found shopping there to be quite satisfactory. We moved here from the greater Los Angeles area and feel the selection of stores and restaurants to be comparable to the ones in our region. If you're looking for a more upscale shopping experience, I guess it could be considered lacking -- no Nordstrom, Barney's or exclusive boutiques -- but for us who don't want to spend $150 for a pair of jeans, we've been happy with the variety of stores and places to eat. We like both Dillards and Belk's, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Coldwater Creek, Shoe Station, Panera Bread, California Dreaming, La Rosso and Stix to name a few of our favorites. read more
